Gypsies, Tall Tees, and Afterbang: The State of Steeze

personally i think skiing is becoming to trendy and people r worrying way too much about how they look on the hill in the eyes of other people. Like a lot of people r saying in this thread, just wear what you feel comfortable in and have fun. I persoanlly don't like the whole tight pants thing but if other people wanna rock em, so be it, not effecting my skiing

funny article liam. i liked.

down with the gypsie, i am a total 50/50 boarder/skier (well it was mostly freeskiing this year since my board kinda, well, exploded for lack of a better term) but i honestly hope that trend never makes it to skiing and gets out of snowboarding as quickly as it came.

i'm fearing the inevitablility of my prayers not being answered....

haha, im doin stuff 4 school and if i copied this i would get excellence for the whole years work.

written very well

its sad someone wasted time to write that stupid article. no one gives a shit about what you wear. if you have skis on your feet it really doesnt matter what your wearing

Where i am the snowboarders are still in tall tees or hoodies and tight airblasters phase, and skiers are looking thug as always. that is how it should stay imo

i like this reply

the only clothing style that i can think of that i am personally not a fan of is suits but there are some that i think look pretty sick

super baggy stuff can be really sick as well but past your knees is a bit redic IMO

yes i wear tall tees on the mountains and on weekends just chillin

yes i wear tight pants (soon to be) on mountain as well as off

plenty of people have said i look retarded but who are they to say anything about what i wear when i can criticize what they wear?

people need to back off and let people have fun

too much seriousness in this world

I've seen the whole Hesh scene hit skiing already. It's pretty fucking ugly, i might add.
Proof that this is sneaking into skiing? Just look at what Max Hill has worn time to time during shoots.

that was a good article. i dont think that the tall tee, baggy clothes fad will go out of style for a while. the 70's skiers were wearing the clothes that were popular with their skiing. as skiing evolved, clothing evolved with it. now newschool skiing go hand in hand with baggy clothes. i think if we lose that style, we will lose part of newschool skiing as we know it
