wow, never thought id have people arguing back and forth abut my movie

hey, if u dnt like it, great dont buy it, simple as that

as far as cloudy, shit i dunno where the rest of you live, but its not always bluebird skys and sunny days on the east coast, and i dont have the benefit of at least a dozen cameramen shooting different locations for me (msp, tgr, poor boyz)

simple as that, if u dont like it, just dont bother with it, your not gonna hurt my feelings here

No offense, but your movie looks bad. For all the shit you were talking all year, and arguing with people who were trying to give you advice, I was hoping you would show them you were right and develop a quality movie. You don't have to have lots of money to make something good. You don't need to film comps. You don't need to charge people to be in your movie. You just need to know what's going on. And it appears you really have no clue. There is plenty of talent in the East, and its not all at comps.

I havn't seen the final movie yet, and probably won't, so don't read too deep into what I say.

its a decent video. first skiing video he's ever attempted. no shit its cloudy, a lot of the skiers don't know they're in it or that it exists, there's a considerable amount of comp footage, its not the greatest quality, and its not comparable to the teasers/videos of pbp, matchstick, level1, or theory 3. everyone starts somewhere don't they.

finn i seriously don't give a fuck what you think. i think you're a very talented skier but don't be an ass just because you and your friends can make a better movie with less effort. you're already in the industry. you have a hell of a lot more hook-ups than he does and you know a lot more incredibly talented skiers. and you ski a lot where the sun is always shining...that all helps a little.

this year is just a start and next years movie will be a hell of a lot different and better. this year was more of a branching out and getting his foot in the door. for a start this movie isn't bad at all.

pat is right anthony does deserve a lot of credit for the amount of time and money he has put into trying this. i know for a fact that he's quite happy he was able to gather as much footage as he could this winter and actually put a movie together. so you guys can all talk about this sucking and that sucking but to me and many others i love it just because its a ski video with tricks and skiing. i've heard people say that movies like happy dayz, blunt, and 2nd generation suck. i don't understand how that can be said about any ski movie someone is willing to put the time and effort into making for others like me to watch.

16mm what? You're saying that you edited the entire teaser, with all digital shots, and you were too lazy to take out the 16mm part at the beginning? I truely hope that you are not marketing it as a 16mm venture.

You should watch Prototype from Skibum Production. Looks like the exact same movie, except they made it three years ago. If this is your first attempt at a ski movie (I remember you saying you made one last year in 16mm), then good luck at getting better in the years to come. Everbody has to start somewhere.

first, i'm not being an ass

second, the first movie we made was from way before i was anywhere in the industry, i was doing everything on my own with only my friends to help

third, of course berman's movies are better than ours, i just said that our movies are of comparable quality to others, as in you wouldn't watch it and say 'damn thats way worse than anything else made this year'

i think it looks pretty good, but alot of people have a point did you ask those pros... i mean you have some top name pros in there that im sure would say no to you if you asked them if you could put there footage THERE SKIING in a movie and sell it... and all you had to do was shoot it... and your making money off there skiing, i give you respect for it, and using smaller names in your movie is fine i guess because alot of smaller named people would want to be in a movie i no i would but pros are already in big time movies, so i just suggest you email all the pros and shit and make sure you can use there skiing next time, other than that i may buy it

save for Iannick B., every last person named in the trailer knows they were being put in the movie. Iannick is in there cause its VT open footage that includes him and alot of other competitors

so yeah, all the titled skiers know they are in there

this movie looks great.

I for one will probably buy it.

It's one thing to give someone constructive criticism that could help him do a better job the next time.

Some of these remarks are just unneccessary though. Yes, the film doesn't appear as top notch as others, but I fail to understand why all the hate towards someone who is trying to create for the ski industry.

im just gonna add like everyone else that that trailer wasnt very good at all. And if you saying its possible to edit the trailer but not change that gay animation that says 16mm then your a liar. Anyways, the skiin wasnt very good. And there isnt one backcountry shot or urban rail. And dont go sayin thats cause we from the east cause i live in michigan. Anyone else with a $400 camera could have made that same trailer, all they would have had to do is show up at comps.

i didnt think highly of it either(rip on me too now melvs). and i dont see where effort as any effect whether people think its good or bad. just cause he put the effort in it doesnt mean we have to like it. just an after thought: acouple months ago wasnt h30 bragging on shooting it all on 16mm cause he got it free or something. just wondering
