Finally got the trailer and website done, and the movie finished and ready to go out the door.

Gwyne-an east coast ski film

featuring: Dave Crichton, Scott Hibbert, Iannick B., Mike Nick, Andy Woods, Liam Downey, Ryan Vescobie, and others

Shot on location at: Mount Snow, Okemo, Stratton Mtn, Vail Colorado, Burlington VT, Killington VT,Loon Mtn, and Tremblant QC

Events covered: Anti-Gravity Grail, Jose Quervo Mega Mother Hucker, XXX Underground Slopestyle, Freds Freeride and Tuning Emporium Superpipe Rail Jam, Line Skis Urban Rail Jam, Line Skis Slopestyle and Slopestyle at Loon Mtn, and the Vermont Open at Stratton Mtn.

Check the site out, all the info on everything is there. Its definately a temporary site, there will be a new one up within a month. Were making the copies now to be sold any day, hit the sales page up for the info

I'm glad its done too, finally i can stop stressing on a daily basis about the work that needed to be done. Hope everyone enjoys it.

And its not one of those trailers that packs all the good footage in and then theres no more left, the entire movie is on par with what u get in the trailer

well well well.. sicky footy as expected. My only complaint is that a lot of it is from comps, and a lot of it is sick ass corks and shit i can't do. I regonbized a few of the comps, and well... depending on the $$ involved, I could very well be getting a copy of it. wondering.. hmm.. mabye hes got a few shots of me in it.

Here's the one thing i didn't like...is there'd be all this sick shit like 270 to rainbow and then there'd be some super hucked spin under a chair lift or a weak straight rail...still really good but that's my only complaint

yeah there is alot of comp stuff, but half the film isnt comp at all. An entire Vail Segment, the XXX underground (not really a comp) ect ect

for anyone on NS that wants a copy its 10.95 for vhs and 14.95 for DVD w/shipping, 2 less then the site says

Sickest trick in the teaser was that 270 rainbow... Liam's switch rodeos were nice too...

why does it say a 16mm ski film if there isnt one shot of 16mm footage in the trailer? alot of shots from the same angle on the same jump in the trailer to. Lots of talent though, best of luck to you,

ya.. about that anthony... you were using an xl-1 right... no 16mm from what I see, although I'm sure you have some shots, just not in the trailer.

as far as 16...no there arent any shots in the trailer, and its a pretty large mix of digi to 16...too much to shoot all 16, but i made the title early and never worried about it again

I will mos definitly be purchasing one then. any chance of us trading movies? I'm doign it with a few other people from thsi site that have made movies. that way neither of us loose any money in reality. if not, I'd be glad to spend the $15 to get it.

Decent overall...some of the shots used were kinda questionable in my opinion....but I'll probably still end up picking up a copy.

ther were too many cork 7's and 9's in there, a couple would have been fine, but they were like every other shot. i liked the flair reverse tail on the jump, and the 50-50 on the rainbow.

oh....that 270 on was a random hero for the day....kid just skied through the park and nailed that, i was just lucky to be waiting for a kid (malczyk) to hit the rainbow and i got that shot, it was pretty sick

the movie itself is half comp half not, its just how the trailer fell into editing

without east coast comps, its very hard to find a solid talent base...dont get me wrong, there is some great east coast talent, just hard to find and harder to follow around to make a movie

Well movies arnt supposed to be easy to make. Not having riders is no excuse to just film comps and randoms in mostly shitty cloudy weather.

ya i was just gonna comment on the clouds. I have seen this before in trailers from 'up and coming companys' How do you expect to make a good video when you film in shitty weather. Look at Poorboyz, MSP, L1p etc. 97% of the shots are sunny days.

i wouldnt buy it.

give him some respect guys. He spent endless hours traveling to almost every half decent ski mtn in new england. He was there chilling with everyone a lot. So it's not professional skiers, adn the weather isnt' that great.. guess what, that's how skiing IS. I am excited to see it cause well, I was there a lot of times and I know probably 1/4 of the people in the movie, so I'm buying it. If you don't wanna buy it don't, but Anthony deserves a lot of respect for what he did. Opions are fine, but don't rip on him, he's done a great job.

um, just because someone 'works' hard doesn't mean you have to like what they do. we (Lucky 87 Films) have made 2 movies in the past 2 years, probably put in alot less effort, and came out with 10 times the quality of product, but hey maybe we're just special like that.

i wonder if half of those guys even know they are in the movie...

no one said yyou had to liek it, just show some fucking respect. I gaurentee you're shit sucks compared to alot of other movies too, so go suck a fat one, and give anthony some respect. if you'd met him, you'd understand.
