So I see that the girls with Uggs thread has been getting a lot of attention, but I feel like we need to focus on the real issue. For ca. 1 1/2 half year ago, GUYS here in Norway (or at least preppy parts like western Oslo) started wearing them. I´m talking of guidos of course. Anyhow, the thing is getting bigger and bigger, and not only do more and more guys give themselves over to the guido trend, also non guido guys are wearing them. We´re talking like 66% of the guys I know. This is heading towards a total catastrophe. As we all know, preppy western Europeans are THE trendsetters here on this planet (just how it is, no hate), so this thing is about to get real ugly if we don´t act soon.
I will dig up some facebook pictures soon but they´re kinda hard to find since you don´t usually take pics of peoples shoes.
 
Love it. Its played among women, but on guys, it can be a hot look.

BTW Oslo is the shit, I'm trying so hard to do a foreign exchange thing there for the first half of my senior year
 
wait seriously?? i'm gonna do the same thing. maybe not during the first half of senior year but maybe during the summer

i might be wrong but i think originally it was a surfer bro deal in austrailia and american chicks picked up on it.

 
sick. I'm still trying to find a program that will accept me and hook me up, you know? I'm thinking about directly contacting a public school in oslo. Can anyone from NS who knows the city reccomend a particularly fun section of town? Pm me, I don't want to thread jack.
 
in austrailia where ugs started they were originally for guys,
people would wear them to the beach surfing

well originally there were designed for guys. in Australia, where they're from, guys still wear them quite a bit. if they are comfy, wear them.
 
i know it sounds stupid but i tried on my sisters uggs, holy shit one of the most comfortable things in the world hahah, basically a tall fur sllipper

my grandpa wears uggs. such a boss. also if anyone has seen the movie, "I Love You, Man", the guy who plays Sydney Fife (i forget his real name) is wearing uggs when he is walking his dog with Peter
 
ive got to admit...my dads got a dope pair of THUGGS that ive worn on occasion to shovel the driveway...never in public though...NEVER will i embarrass myself in public like that
 
i wear man uggs. some people give me shit for it, others respect me for it and tell me i have big balls for it.
i love them, most comfortable thing ive ever warn on my feet. check out Staheekum brand. there are men's brand and they're ALOT cheaper than Uggs but just as good
 
I've never seen a guy wearing uggs. Probably because I live in a hick town so if they did they'd get shot.
