Guy backflips over cop then gets arrested

it's not like any crime they could charge him with would be a big deal anyways

he wasn't trying to hurt someone, he wasn't driving, there was no property damage, and the only substance in his system was legal
 
the cops don't just show up and arrest someone for being "drunk in a public place" after doing a backflip off of a car. him or one of his friends definitely did something retarded before that.

i think in Texas it's even illegal to be drunk IN the bar, let alone on your walk home. Made it so the bar owner/worker isn't liable for your drunk ass anymore.
 
No, not slow. Just from the UK where as long as I'm not drunk in one of the very few "alcohol free zones" I can be as drunk as I like as long as I'm not "disorderly".
 
If you're not disorderly, then a cop really has no reason to believe you are drunk and arrest you. You aren't going to get arrested for public intoxication if you aren't acting intoxicated, which would be acting disorderly. Basically, it's the same idea.
 
Those are called Dram Shop laws and they have them in almost every state now. Legally, you cannot serve someone to the point of intoxication, otherwise you can be held liable for any damage they do once they leave your establishment.
