Hahaha yes it was obviously all Gus' fault. Your just about as bad as the guy who made the comment about style...

Why can't everyone just let people ride the way they want. EVERYONE has their own style, and whether or not you think it's sick, it's still their style and the way they like to ski. Nobody is going to change their style (whether it be skiing or otherwise) just because people don't like it. There will always be people who have an opposite opinion, and if someone is that influenced by others than it's too bad for them.

Be yourself, that's it!
 
Well ya it is actually. I have never heard/read about anyone saying that we should all have the same style until this kid brought it up in a thread entitled "Gus Kenworthy King of Style Entry." This is through a decent number of years of loggin on to NS. This extends to a broader point though: should we all the same style? Why in the fuck would we want that? So we can all do the same tricks and have the exact same mentatlity and perception of what skiing means to us? Why would you want that? Isn't thats what is so great about skiing, that we have the freedom to do what we want with snow?

Is this what "freestyle" skiing is coming to? Where we all want to be the exact same? Well I fucking don't. Ya people may talk shit on me cause I'm bashing the next hot kid or some shit, but I could really care less.
 
My post wasn't in reference to Gus, but you pretty much said the exact same thing as me. I was trying to get across these points:

-Everyone has their own style

-Your style should be the way you like to ride

-Not everyone is going to like you're style

Where I disagree with you is when you say people should change their style according to how people criticize them. I think your style should be who you are, not who someone wants you to be. If that was the case then why are you skiing?

 
Gus went skiing, he had fun, and did his own thing. How can you call that the cause for someone saying "i don't think that style is something that should be unique to errybody"

Please read my post next time, I clearly mentioned that every single person has their own unique style, and they should not change it according to what others say. What I hate the most about people on this site is when people think their opinions matter most without taking the time to read what others have to say. I agree with pretty much everything you said, and if you would have taken 5 seconds to read my post, you would have realized we both think quite alike.

Fuck dude, who gives a shit. people are just hatin. Erbody know's gus is sick, anyone whos hatin is just pissed cause there not as good as him or they just want to go skiing really fuckin badly. I dont know how anyone could possibly look at that video and say its not sick.
