Idk I think he's a good guy, I think people dislike him because he's unreal at slop and doesnt ski anything else. He's a pretty well rounded dude and overall a nice guy
 
A lot of people are hating on goepper now because of the car thing but alot of less competition focused skiiers have done some dumb shit too

This argument is a dead horse. Ever since the days of moguls when hot dogging first came about, there were people who skied comps and then there was the hot dog movement where they hated on comp skiers. This rift in our sport will only continue. No one gets into skiing because they won't to win a gold medal. It's not that mainstream. People get into skiing because they enjoy it.

Yes some people get into filming and others go the comp road, however at the end of the day they both enjoy what they do. However, have you ever noticed that comp skiers never hate on filmers? It's always filmers hating on comp skiers.
 
So wait… skiers do bad shit all the time like disrespecting police to get a funny shot or stuff like that and nick goepper gets shit for what he did even though he handled it responsibly. Also Nick isn't ruining skiing. Just because he focuses on trying to push the limits of our sport doesn't make him the evil villain of free skiing.
 
also with the gus calling out goepper think. I don't think its that big of a deal and some fight is gonna go down or some shit. They're probably good friends and gus is just messing with him

It definitely says a lot that he came forward and confessed, and I respect for him dropped considerably less than it would have if he didn't.

The reason I've never been a fan is that I just can't stand his style, or lack there of. To me it seems like he does the same shit as everyone else, but looks awkward doing it while everyone else looks cool.

well I was refering to the pre-skiing-is-hood days (aka before t-walluts unknown in circa 07 ), but as I assume you haven't lived em, its no surprise you can not relate.

pros back then where skiing more for the fun of it,

theses days you see guys like Dumont bitch on their insta that even tho he in keystone, he's bored of skiing for the day... im talking guys like THALL, CANDIDE, PEP ETC.

simple, you consider the old says the skiing is hood era, it just shows how new you are to the sport. were talking 2000 days, get eduated on those time film edits, then come back and talk. thank u come again.

Dub pos but on a serious note. I would highly ddoubt that Gus is actually trying to hurt nicks feelings. It's like friendly banter between friends. Also it suggests that Goepper just used anxiety as a mitigating factor and probably wasn't stressed and just drunk.

Gus is always giving Nick shit and trying to mess with him. At a comp last year Gus was hitting on Nicks sister trying to piss him off. and some other things I shouldn't say

One year I was trying to perfect my backflips, so I started doing a ton of backflips every single run for like 2 days. After that everyone called me nick goepper and said all I can do is backflips. I feel part of his pain

I'd love to tell you all. I'm sure someone is reading this and knows exactly what I'm talking about. I don't think its my place though. I'm not trying to start anything. It happened right after the podium presentations for slope. I was pretty disappointed when I herd though because I like both. Both are friends of the store. Both are great faces of the sport and should not have beef between them. Unfortunately Nick said something immature that I'm sure he would love to take back. however whats been said is said. the damage is done.
