Gunstock 2011/2012 Thread

didnt like gunstocks first jump last year. it felt really odd. that was my only complaint though. cant wait to go back with my schools ski club. good place
 
last year they hade some sick rails/boxes but a lot of them didnt slide too well and some were set up really awkwardly
 
damn, I had a pass a couple years ago and all the jumps onto the rails were tiny and clearly setup more for snowboarders. I hope its not still like that
 
Opening on the 18th now and they said they are going to try to have one or two rails or box up. anyone thinking of going sunday?

 
Did anyone go yesterday? I was going to but decided it probably wasn't worth it. I hope they get some features up next weekend.
 
was there today, setup is real small a flat down rail made from two rails, a 5 foot flat rail and a 5 foot down box with a little gap onto it
 
HAHAHAHA. This time last year they had a 6 jump line and 4 rail options at the bottom of their main park. GUNCOCK FUCKIN BLOWS. Dave, come up to Okemo if you want to ski a REAL mountain with REAL cliffs. Joe, you aren't invited.
 
Was there Saturday and they now have a pretty fun jump line probably around 30, 35, and 45. There's also a few corrugated pipes, c box, A-Frame, Up box, few flat rails, a handrail, and a flat-up-flat. They'll probably put in that cannon/another jump on the right and a rail garden at the bottom.
 
Park is better this year and is its own department now... opened Saturday. Conditions have been good so far, with the exception of Saturday haha.
 
im there on tue. 1/10/12 jump line looks sick on that video.....and prob friday if the weather good...yellow orage pants an a black saga vest hit me up....
 
parks open top to bottom right now some rails and box into a channel gap followed by 3 jumps rails and box features next to the jumps then lower section has a mellow step down into a wallride and a few more rails a metal barrel looks like there working on the left side of the park also but top to bottom is fun ill be there filming friday say what uppp....
 
Gunstock is sweet right now. Everyone should come here

The top of the park is a corregated pipe, to a corregated cannon jib, to a c box, then an up flat rail.

The skiers left side is an up box into a channel gap(I skip this) into a triple line of jumps like 25, 35, 40 foot jumps (im not to good at estimating) next to the jumps is a flat rail, a flat up flat box, and a singel barrel down rail

They just opened the skier right side, it has a a flat box and a rainbow rail, into a sketchy step down jump (if its even a jump, more of just a drop) with an up flat rail next to it, then 2 cannon boxes with another sketchy step down drop jump.

The bottom of the park is another down rail a wallride and a propane jib

Hopefully they put more rails in, but the park is sick right now and the jump line is really smooth
 
Their park is getting their.. baby steps is all it takes

and the air bag is mad dope.

But the step downs in their park on the right side arent bad.. but their real fun for just buttering off of because they have NO pop at all.

But their rails suckkkk hardcore.
