Ya my cousin just dropped by before going to the concert, i hope he didn't get fucking arested. It looks mad crazy on the news.

excuse me. Does anyone else see that guns n roses is NOT GUNS N ROSES ANYMORE?!!?!!!!! it's axel. that's all. middle-aged, drugged out, fat, axil. (?) no slash. no anyone. Slash and the drmmer (forget his name) both live in Laurelhurst, a nice little neighborhood overlooking lake WA a few blocks from my house. ACTUALLY, alpentalik lives there. HAH! stalk him.

the rest of the band showed up last night, but for some reason axel was on another plane and it didn't come in. so its funny that you said that freeskicharlie.

I was in on a few of the festivites last night.

Apparently Axl wasnt supposed to arrive until yesterday, although the rest of the band was here since the day before.

We were walkin down to the show, and this huge wave of people were walking away from the stadium. Then we found out it had been cancelled.

The cops were tellin everyone that Axl never got on his plane from L.A. Everyone immediately assumed that he had just pussied out.

Then all hell broke lose.

People started shooting roman candles at all the cops and GM Place security guards. Then they started picking up the guardrails and smashing them through all the windows in the stadium. It was fuckin crazy. It got really ugly when a random cop car drove by the mob, and some dude threw a fat rock thru the driver's window.

The po-po started pepper spraying the shit out of everyone, and beating EVERYONE with nightsticks. I saw some old dude lying on the ground getting gang-beat by four cops. They brought out the dogs,and were even pointing their guns at us, telling us to go home. It was fucked.

Then I find out this morning that Axl's plane was delayed because of mechanical and/or weather problems, and that he WAS on route to Vancouver. So when the GM Place managers found out he wasnt in town at 7pm, they cancelled the show. And apparently Axl is pissed right off.

So now I sit here patiently and hope for an announcement that it will be rescheduled.

That sucks Schmuck, I have a bit of an idea of how much you were anticipating the show :)

They posted this on Canoe.ca: 'Refunds for the show will be available at point of purchase Nov. 14.' So it doesn't look good as far as rescheduling goes...

Sorry dude.

haha no..but yea I live in Ohio, Usa and I heard about the riot, it looked brutal that really sucks..

yeah i'm pretty sure the police are just looking for some sort of excuse to beat up rockers and shit. like do they ever beat any rioting fans at 'N Sync or Aguilera concerts? noooooooooooooo

yea i heard on the radio today that the cops r gonna go thru all the media coverage to track down, arrest and press necessary charges on people who were startin shit
