Gun control

Defending yourself against a tyrannical government is fucking nonsense. The second you take up arms there would be unmanned drones dropping hellfire missiles on your house from 30 thousand feet. I hope your m16 makes you feel safe at night because it shouldn't.

wow please tell me where i could buy an m16, i would love too. unfortuantely i do not have a class 3 permit which is needed to own fully automatic arms

also insurgent fighters in the middle east seem to be giving the military a pretty hard time with their rusty AKs. its called guerilla warfare doofus.

I've read recently that the right to bear arms was actually pushed through only because of lobbyists from arms manufacturers.

how many m16's have been used at a school shooting?

I'm curious now, for the people who do love to have their handguns with them. Say you get mugged or carjacked by more than one person. Chances are, if these guys are criminals, they'll have guns right? What would you do? Try and kill both of them as they jump you? Because once you get one, the other person can easily get you, no?

I don't really care because its not my country that has these issues so much, but these are the things that make me question a lot of the arguments going around right now.

Another point:

When Zehaf-Bibeau ran in to parliament, he was using a rifle that would take upwards of 30 seconds to reload and had a low capacity. I truly believe that his weapon's lack of capacity saved lives that day, coupled with only our police force having powerful weapons. Sure, it was a shitstorm because us Canadians never really get into gunfights, but I'm pretty glad he wasn't running around with a fully automatic anything.

That wasn't the point I was just using it as an example in regard to people that think their personal arsenal is in any way guarding against tyranny.

It actually made my point, what happens on the guns you need a level 3 permit for, they're not used in school shootings I wonder if they were used in any murders, another case of gun control working. I wonder what would happen if we did the experiment and made all guns require a level 3 permit.

Its not just my personal arsenal. Its my personal arsenal in addition to more than 270 million other gun owners' weapons. As of 2013 the United States had 1.3 million people on active duty. The second amendment was created to protect citizens from a tyrannical government and would absolutely serve its purpose. A ban on guns will be the prelude to other losses of our freedom. A government cannot serve a people whom it has absolute control over.

Legal supply would go down price would sky rocket. I personally would buy guns illegally from drug cartels or other criminals.
