I don't really know the song but you want to increase picking speed? the best advice for that is to play one note a bunch of times as fast as you can and then switch the note on the same string and time it with either an upstroke or downstroke every time. do that 1000 times.

I play electric and acoustic. som,e shit ass peavey and a really nice acoustic that I haven't found out the make - it was FREE and sounds really nice.

I've been playing acoustic for a little over a year, at about 7 months, you really start picking things up faster as long as you keep at it for about a day or 2. A good exercise is to pick frets 1,2,3,4 using only down picks and including your pinky successively on all the strings. It's a speed exercise, finger coordination exercise, and picking exercise. Do it everytime before you play. I guess the hardest thing i can play is Say it aint so by weezer, solos and all, or wish you were here by pink floyd, just cause the solos are the shit.

oh yeah and i've been playing on and off for like 2 years. I used to have a Takamini acoustic, then i bought a squier strat. And now i have the stagemaster.

I play a Les Paul Voodoo, very sweet guitar! Then a Washburn Acoustic....

i learned when i started high school, took lessons and all.. still have teh same guitar, a Fender Strat (Mexican made, aka, not so good, no offense to Mexicans but its the cheap Fender line).

I was in a few bands in hs, two of which got pretty good but one split up and the other, we all graduated. I play sparingly now a days, I should really pick it back up.

The Gibson SG is an awesome aweosme guitar, and whoever said all squires suck is totally right.

I love playing guitar. I'm not too good, but I'm getting better. I take guitar as my elective in school, and all your do is work independently, so I've been practicing a lot.

I can play scales, and I'm ok at. I can read the bass clef very easily because I've played bass and trumbone for a long time, but I'm still getting used to treble.

-Chris Peck

Yeah i have a Norman acoustic and an axetech electric.

----now i lay me down to sleep, blah blah blah my soul to keep, if i die before i wake ill go to hell for heavens sake

yeah I can't read actual music. only tabs :( oh well. so what's everyone's favourite songs to play? I'd say

Coldplay - See you Soon

Elliott Smith - Biggest Lie

Hayden - Street Car

RHCP - Cabron

Led Zepp. - Over the hills and far away

Floyd - wish you were here.

Played for 8 years. I use an ESP Flying Tiger model and the infamous Kamikaze model.

My guitars are strung on GHS strings with Seymour Duncan pickups.

I'm using a Peavy 100W standalone speaker to jam away in my basement.

Fear is the mind killer!

Been playing for about four years now. I love it and recommend that everyone learn. It's stuff a stress relief, second only to skiing. As for my gear...lets see.

A Martin Acoustic/Electric Cutaway running through a Boss RC-20 and Ibanez Delay/Echo pedals to a Marshal Acoustic Amp.

A Fender Telecaster running through a Line 6 DL-4, Ibanez Tubescreamer, Ibanez Flanger/Chorus and a Boss OC-20 (Overdrive) to a Line 6 Spider 212 Amp.

A Warwick Corvette 4 String Bass to a Gallien - Krueger 2X10 Combo

If your seriously thinking about really playing and devoting time and money, get a loop sampler..something like the DL 4 and RC-20...they allow you to practice with yourself...they're definately badass....
