Heycan you guys help out a dude?i started playing guitar like two months ago....freshman in collegei need a bunch of songs that are fun and easy to play that i can learn...im running out of songs i actually can playi just learned blackbird from beatles for any indication for type of music.....Acoustic btwthanks for any suggestion

well, they don't quite fit your music style, but Red Hot Chili Peppers - Otherside and Nirvana - Smells Like Team Spirit are two very easy and pretty common songs to learn.

the white stripes - seven nation armydr dre - the next episodeanything ACDC since 95% of their songs use the same chordstenacious d - fuck her gentlyeric clapton - tears in heavenfoo fighters - everlong (you need to tune your low E string to D so your tuning's DADGBe) or anything by foo fighters since nothing from them is particularly hardla bamba
 
ive been playing for a couple years. never learned reading music and just used tabs...took lessons early on...go on youtube and see tutorials for songs...if you know chords its pretty easy to pick up songs quick.

Learn any song off of the acoustic roots cd by slightly stoopid. Most of the songs are two guitar parts but you can still play them by yourself.

Also since you just started, don't focus on tabs only. Start to learn your scales too, it will make you alot better in the long run.
