its really getting to annoy me now, was jsut wondering if anyone else had opinions on this?

i don't see them coming up with a system to rival powertab. its so useful to get small bits of riffs i don't get at first. also i been searching for steve vai's "for the love of god" and as i got 2 tab books of steve vai and not that song it gets me annoyed i can't download it.

i'm not saying whats right or wrong here, i just got annoyed i couldn't get this song.

they shouldent be able to do that becasue some of the sites i go to are just things that people figure out how to play the song write tabs.. its not as if they are saying were going to stela your music... if they go through with that i would get a bunch of people to sign a patition(SP?) agains it from happening becasue its a good thing that their up.. and it makes people buy CD's or Download songs.. becasue if some one sees a tab they could be ike i want to learn how to play that song cause it looks like it might be good... then voala more money for them... plus it just pisses me off its technically not stealing music.

yeah man i play bass and my favorite site got banned. basically the RIAA is saying its copyright thing and site owners may get jailtime. It is ridiculas because its our opinion on how to play the song the frets are different things. I say every bass guitar and drum player goes on a worldwide strike that should open their eyes

it sucks, but most of the tabs on the web are only little parts of songs and are mostly wrong...just start learning to tab yourself

yea i go to ultimate guitar which is pretty good usually, sucks tho if they are taking them down its fun to hear songs and then learn to play them
