Guitar hero 3 is def better its a ton harder than rock band and the only good thing abou rock band is the drums

well i hate guitar hero but have yet to play rock band because no one has it for ps2. i really wanna sing though so im thinking i would enjoy rock band.
 
guitar hero is a better game, especially if you're playing by yourself. rockband is really fun to play with a group of people. not to mention the drums are awesome. it's a tough call.

The guitar on Rock Band sucks hard. The notes are hard to see compared to guitar heroes circles and the guitar strummer is fucking terrible. This makes everything harder than it should be. Although, I do feel Rock Bands guitar parts are way easier.

The drums are really fun but hard as shit. I'm just now getting into expert songs and I can't even finish a lot of the songs on hard.

Singing is way more fun than I expected it to be. As long as you have a little self confidence.

The career mode in Rock Band sounds awesome until you actually play it. Oh boy, I get to play Say It Ain't So by weezer 4 times in a row. What? I finished the first 3 songs in the myster playlist only to fail on the 4th and progress no further in the game? I reached a fan cap of 600,000 playing on hard and they said I had to play on expert to get more fans. Wtf? I haven't even beaten half the game on hard. I liked how in guitar hero you just went down the list and it got harder as you went. With Rock Band it seems like I randomly play impossibly hard songs in the middle of super easy sets.
 
real music is gay dude, guitar hero and rock band are the future, in like 3 years everyone will be payinng to go to concerts of people playing guitar hero
 
Get stoned play some sublime and eek-a-mouse with the homies. Get drunk and compete at some guitar hero, end of story.

I don't even like playing that game unless I'm drunk and competing against someone else. I played it once on E though and I was entranced for an hour or so.
 
im rreaaly bad at gutar hero and singing into a video game sounds kind of faggy to me so idk i dont really like either
 
guitar hero is loosing it for me... rock band is just a lot more fun

but you know what is more fun then both of those.... learning real instruments
 
guitar hero is much harder, i cant beat a level on hard yet but i can beat a few levels on hard on rock band. when it comes to a party game, rock band takes the cake.
 
game-wise, id say rock band just because you have drums and singing, which makes it a better party game, but i also hate the rock band guitar so i dont know...

I've got both games for 360 and played them each to death.

I like the guitar for Rock Band much more than the GH one, playing the solos on the high frets without strumming is pretty fun, because you can drink while you're playing with one hand. However, both my drums and guitar are broken, and I've had to fix them several times myself.

The best songs in Rock Band (Green Grass, High Tides, Foreplay/Longtime, Run to the Hills) are better than the best songs in GH3 (save for Cliffs of Dover) and the downloadable content each week is pretty awesome.

It's only fun to play Rock Band with a group now, and even still you'd have to twist my arm, but any time someone is playing GH3, I've got to hop in a get a turn.

I can't see the rhythm game phase lasting too much longer, I think its played itself out.
 
rock band is way too easy i mean guitar hero has through the fire and flames makes it look impossible

rock band sucks because the guitar blows and notes suck......
