Guitar Hero III Demo

if my cd burner wasnt broken i would totallly do that. guitar hero 2 is sooo much fun. track list for 3 looks awesome.
 
shoulda mentioned it was for the xbox 360.

After you put the disc in it should show up as a "Mixed Media Disc" and the game will be playable from the demos section like normal.
 
if it doesnt work for anyone, make sure when you put it in, scroll over on your dashboard to demos and it should be under there
 
ugh.. i get the demo on the disc fine, but then it says i have to download some update? what is it?
 
It actually simplifies things. Go into Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utilities. Then if gh3.iso isn't in the list of disks on the left just drag it into the list from your desktop or wherever its saved. Then click burn in the upper left corner of Disk Utility.
 
you might wanna take out your harddrive and unplug your internet cable because if microsoft finds out they can make your 360 a dud.
 
no they can't. Thats illegal. They might be able to ban you from xbox live, but that wouldn't make sense, especially since demos are free anyway.
 
yea, i got the demo and all, but before i can play it i need to download an update? of some sort... how do i do this on a mac?
 
yea it says that i need an update, and when i look at the forum it was posted, someone posted a link for an update from xbox.com. however, the following instructions arent for macs, just windows
 
its an unreleased demo, you're not suppose to be playing it. if people on your friends list can see what game you are playing im sure microsoft is smart to search out anyone who's playing an unreleased guitar hero 3 demo. they will for sure ban you from xbox live, which makes your 360 practically useless without live
 
Except the demo isn't unreleased. Its available in Tony Hawks Proving Ground and in a demo disc that comes with the official xbox magazine.
 
i took my friends xbox, burned that shit and put it in, but nothing happens. i went to the demo section and theres nothing there. am i doing something wrong, or did i just burn it incorreclty?
 
fuck this just wait till it releases next week

my gamestop is having a tournament the night befor for a 25 dollar gift card off the game, im gona win that shit
