so i saw a guy play dragonforce - through the fire and flames tonight with turbo or whatever its called turned on.

it was unbelievable.

I can almost get to 25% on hard. But I'm basically pressing random buttons at that point..

Its rididculously long and hard. I did practice mode on expert on the slowest speed and only got 58% of the notes

if you get past the intro its a pretty easy song after it. ive only been able to get past once

We can beat it on hard, but expert is insane. I think th only way to play the beginning on expert is to do it entirely as a hammer on. It fails you so fast if you try it any other way

I can beat it on hard no problem. Expert I can only get 1%. I'll learn the intro soon enough. I still can't beat the devil on expert.

and another thing, turning on the turbo speed actually makes songs easier because it speeds up the fretboard and makes the notes appear farther apart.

really pissing me off. ive been going at it again all day today. i just cant get the intro down.

i'm terribly upset about this game. most people play by using there them and pushing on the string. for some reason, i learned by playing with my thumb and index finger together, like i'm holding a pick, and flicking the string. i got really good and I and II and it all worked. but they changed something with III and for some reason it just doesn't work that way. so i have to pretty much learn how to play all over again doing the thumb thing. fuck.

which guitar are you using? i tried ghIII on my friend's ghII controller and it just didn't work. we tried ghII with the same controller and it worked with that. i'm hoping the new controller will work for me.

i have gh2 & rocks the 80's for ps2, i use a gh2 wired controller and both ways work; my friend has gh3 for 360, i used his wireless gh3 controller and both ways work
