they are owned by southern yes. howver, to rcoup the costs we're gonna be renting them to other teams and such. I think. we'll see what happens. either way, we have the post holes dug and construction of the actual ramps should be underway soon.
 
I really like the way AB freestyle completly screwed over central. It's quite likely that what they've done will cause the team to die sometime in the future
 
bunch of idiots.. there ones in gp and one in red deer so there is no point in making another one... besides calgarys will be so damn packed. and now that the double at red deer is fixed you wont need it...
 
Yeah Wow mark, I remember first day on the kicker at the ramps here in red deer, you had that massive orange life jacket and you did like a flair and ate it so hard........ it was funny.

And Wow If the ramps in Calgary get built will Alberta Have the most ramps in any province/state around the world?
 
My team died hahahaha. manitoba freestyle is dead, AB team stole my cousin for a coach.

but these ramps sound cool, maybe ill show up one day next summer.
 
big wide transition and a different material from meanie. more like dryslope. and I would be really surprised if you couldn't do doubles off it.
 
i went to look at them today with ryan and the dug the hole and put in the trampthing and some of the platform is built it looks pretty sweet it looks like it will be the same as grand prairie
 
gp is sick and there is no one there to tell you what to do. I mean shit i have never been coached for freestyle...I guess that explains why i suck
 
ya GP is sick, super smooth transition. But it would be nice if COP could be a little bigger. Ya if you go from the top of GP you can go like 60 feet but you don't get more than like 10 feet high in the air which is pretty sketchy and gives you next to no time in the air. I don't know why I'm saying COP should make it bigger, I don't think they're gonna do it cause some kid on NS said so
 
cop sucks ass they can't pull their own heads out of their own asses so they will never build anything good. case and point: look at the biathalon building they destroyed
 
red deer's is f-ing BALLER now that they fixed the double it is sooooo sick. and BTW Waddel i used your skis but mine broke

haha don't worry everyone's used Waddel's skis. You should definatly never leave them at the ramp while you're gonna be gone for weeks on end. That's kind of a basic rule
 
well i kinda have to agree with whats-his-face, mate we did get screwed over, we were promissed an airsite, well we got it but it was really shitty...and way to steep, but still...ive been hearing good things about the cop ramps, it'll be nice, i wont have to spend to much money now on gas to go ramping

 
i was watching vids on water ramps and right when they hit the jump the water gets like all bubbley.

how come?
 
water has a very high surface tension (comparatively) so the bubbles break that tension allowing for a much more comfortable landing situation.
