Body Found In Little Dell Reservoir

Homicide crews are scouring Little Dell Reservoir for clues that might explain the death of a woman whose body was found in a creek, Saturday.
The woman’s body was initially found by shed workers. Police are calling the death suspicious.
Divers now comb the reservoir for clues, hoping to have the area cleared by nightfall.
Normally the section of the reservoir is closed, but a kayak event is being held over the weekend. Police say the woman’s body was found wearing street clothes, indicating that she was likely not involved in the water activates.
“This is a closed area, normally even the kayakers aren’t even allowed in here,” said Lt. Paul Jaroscak from the Salt Lake County Police Department. “We’re still looking for those witnesses who said there was a couple, a man and a woman, who were here last night.”
Investigators plan to bring the body out of the reservoir before nightfall. Neither the age, nor identity of the woman has not yet been released.
