Spent a lot of timing staring at ski bowl from govy whenever I went to timberline each May. Never got to ski it obviously as it’s closed that time of year

going to have to hit you guys with a Midwest one:

Skibowl night powder laps. Are amazing. Skibowl has the best terrain on hood. Just low elevation

Fuck i miss night skiing at bowl. Too bad Portland is a shitty place to live and anywhere near by is expensive or you're living with the pigs in the barn

Nope. Clue its very high up north and has very much snow but doesnt open until the end of februarh because its dark outside 24/7 there in the start off the winter and sometimes they have open on midsummer and you can ski in the middle off the night and the sun is still up

Portland ain't that bad. But yes it's stupid fucking expensive to live near hood

Yeah it isn’t. I think I just had a bad living situation and needed to get out. Maybe one day I’ll make a return journey

Stevens pass or mission ridge. Or Palisades Tahoe. Honestly I’m not sure at all but it’s def west coast snow

Really really close, you are correct that is the heavy PNW snow that sticks to vertical surfaces but wrong resort

I’ve seen that type of snow all over tho I agree, heavy / wet is far more common in the PNW

I can’t remember the lift, I’ve been thinking but that really looks like killi…skyship lift maybe … tho now I’m assuming I’m incorrect as the poster hasn’t granted me victory ?
