GUARDSMANS

I was actually up there today, and you might honestly be able to still get a little jibbin done. Granted I just drove through and didn't actually get out of the car and check out any spots, but there was definetely more snow than I thought there would be still up there. The farther you go up the pass, the better you'll be.

went up on saturday, and actually hooked some pow turns and built a decent jump. Friends went up there the next day and huge rock fields were exposed. But if you're just planning on jibbing or skiing in pretty much the same spot every time then you should be able to find a couple places.

my friends went up yesterday. said it was patchy but you could hit some shit if you moved it around. idk if its even worth it to go up

You aren't gonna find anything up Guardsman that's really skiable. I was up in Catherine's Pass last weekend and there were some north facing aspects that were still holding a pretty nice layer of snow, but that would be a lot of work for not that much skiing.

How much is up there today? I was there a few days ago and there were skiable patches, but I'm expecting a lot more snow now. Unfortunately I can't go again until the weekend because of work.

I was up there today hitting a few jibs, and I would say that there was probably 5" in the best spots. Not great, but for jibbing it'll do.

Went skiing up at Alta today. It was okay. deffinitly pretty sketch if you go anywhere off trail. Nice to get the planks under the feet anyway.

Went to the rails for the first time. The road from the top pretty much all the way to the bottom is snow/ice covered. It was fun cruising down that on skis. Pretty decent snow cover up there. Fun set ups. Also, Big ups to the homies who all helped build a little camp fire up there. That was chill

Haha we probably passed you. 3 people were skiing, being towed behind a subaru from the top down to brighton and then all the way back up.We got kicked out of a spot near the top b/c we weren't snowboarders, hit a bunch of stumps and rocks, took us 30 minutes to light a mini grill, and almost rolled off the road near the top. It was chill.

Our car battery died and we needed to get jumped so we asked these two cops and they were total fucking dicks yesterday. They were all like "Well I don't know if I'm willing to help you guys out." Fucking dicks.

Definitely good if your coming out from Ohio. Didnt say it was bad. Said it was sketchy. Went up to the shoulder. Which in my opinion is more then high enough. What would I know though.

honestly we had a foot + where we were skiing, zero rocks, and super smooth. Not face shot status, but definitely perfectly smooth. Plus I have been out here for over a year, I know what good snow is

Dude there are a ton of spots with rails. You basically gotta just pull over where other cars are and follow the footprints, and hopefully the people at the spot are down with having you shred. Me and one of my friends went up there for the first time back in October and just explored, andfound some cool spots.
