Guardman pass

I'm not sure of the conditions up there right now, but come mid October I think some sliding will be available. Definitely gonna go up there as pre season as I can.

To look at the colorful aspen trees and a skiff of snow? There is no snow. But if you want to waste gas up BCC to look at snow covered aspen leaves, then go right ahead.

Definitely post in here when it gets snow. Should be in the next couple weeks and will probably make a couple trips.

I would actually be happy to be up there in the cold if there's not enough snow. Best way to get stoked for winter is some cold weather and some snow.

Probably not by the weekend, it's supposed to get warmer, but hopefully. It was still snowing when we left around 7:30, we're going back tomorrow

the snow conditions were sketchy, maybe an inch or two tops on the ground. but we pulled out the rock skis and had a shitload of fun and that's what skiing is about. stoked to get the season going.

Just a heads up some of my homies were up at guardsmans in the blownzone and got kicked out by the cops and the cops said starting October 1st anyone who gets caught skiing or boarding will be ticketed for trespassing so be careful. #fuckthapolice

wherever you go, bring extra bags for trash. im sick of seeing beer cans and shit all over the woods up there from shred bros that are too fucking lazy to throw shit in their bags. i also remember seeing a bunch of cut up rails on the side of the road last month, so someone up there is not fucking around this year.

overall, just respect the area. people being dick knobs on private property/forest land ruins the fun for all of us.

good, i believe littering is one of the main reasons forest service and unified police dont want anyone dicking around in the woods this fall, so tread carefully, people.

I thought it was just when the road ices over and there's no warming in the forecast. I didn't know there was a definitive date.

It could be. Some places online say it's closed nov-apr so I was going off of that. I could be totally wrong.
