GTA V

I've been messing around online for a few days now. Love the game, but I might just re-start single player mode as my method of continuing to play (just beat it last week). I don't have a crew or anything so I usually just drive around, get shot by randoms, try to start missions or deathmatches that nobody joins, etc.
 
I'm just going to level up and worry about making money until I'm high enough for sticky bombs and have a decent apartment/car thennn I'm just gonna fuck with randoms, not even bother with missions.
 
I like the game a lot, but they definitely took it too far with some of the repetitive, realistic tasks that are boring. And the flight controls for the helicopter need some work. I haven't played online so this is just about story mode. To me the monetary system is so broken, realistic I guess, but not much fun. Basically if you want to buy all the property you have to wait until you finish the main story and then play the stocks at the end. I'd rather space it out to where I progress evenly throughout the game and mix it up, but I find myself just rushing through the main story.

And they really need to fix the AI for the cops and wanted level. So much as look the wrong way at a cop and you have two stars and it takes forever to go away. And they bring out the police heli way too fast. It just wastes so much game time. It's GTA, I shouldn't need to evade a 3 star wanted level everytime I decide to jack a car. And without a health cheat you can't really rampage or anything because you die so quick in this one.

Red Dead Redemption was one of my favorite games ever and I thought this would be more like that. I liked RDR and Saints Row better I think.
 
I don't know why people complain about the helicopter controls. I love them em and fly that thing all the time. Planning on buying a heli in online even though they spawn all the time.
 
I guess because the plane ones are so good that in comparison the helicopter ones aren't that good. They are fun to fly but when you have to do precision stuff I think it's cumbersome.
 
A.K.A. you suck at the game and blame it on everything. Even I suck at video games and managed to finish the whole thing without having too much of a hard time.

Wanted level are actually really easy to escape.

Health cheat for the rampage? You must suck a lot. It's one of the easiest thing they have in the game!

And the chopper is easy as fuck to control, I don't see whats so hard about it!
 
I completely agree with the other guy, maybe I just dont get the point of these games in general but I constantly find myself having to do stuff I don't want to do, stuff I wouldn't even want to do in real life, and now its to the point where I just kill myself if the cops are on me bc Im tired of wasting time trying to lose them
 
hahaha as I was typing that my guy got arrested, apparently you lose all your ammo? this shit is so dumb I had no idea I was buying something like the sims or second life
 
it's been like that in every game except for san andreas if you have the cop girlfriend.is it really that hard to hide behind a wall for 30 seconds to get rid of cops? they don't even cruise around in this game, they only show up when you do illegal shit.

the only thing that really flusters my jimbobs is that when you walk up to randoms they'll occasionally whip out their cell and call the po nine then you get 1 star for no reason what the fuck is up with that
 
I beat the game no problem too. And when I say rampage, I mean in the open world aspect not Trevors pre-assigned ones. Gosh you're such a fucking idiot. you're probably one of those people who spend time golfing and playing tennis in the game instead of just playing the sport itself outside. You must suck a lot of dick to get such a confidence boost out of supposedly being good at a game that you can't really be good at. So just because I critique a game that means I suck? You didn't read my comments as they were mainly about whether the game is FUN or not. Not about its difficulty. The other guy above me had it right. Some of the task are fucking stupid, sorry about it.

And africanwarlord dude, I don't think you played the older GTAs at all. Now those were fun. GTA got its name on rampages and illegal shit, but in my opinion GTA 5 reacts too harshly to doing exactly those things. I disagree with you guys, take it as is. Any idiot could beat this game. You act like it's Ninja Gaiden or something.
 
they are pretty much the only video games I ever played. in none of the other games can you steal a car or shoot someone in front of a cop, and you can't even lose them, you have to go to a paynspray. shit, in vice or san andreas they would call the tanks and you'd explode if you ran into them. sounds like you're having a hard time because you can't get shot a thousand times and still live in this game.
 
Thats exactly it for me. I miss indestructable tanks and the ability for one man to kill hundreds of people in one police chase.
 
For some reason it says i have one mission left for franklin (i have completed the story) and i can't find any mission. Is it the hunting bigfoot?

Because its fucking Grand Theft Auto. Thats the whole point. Pointless violence.
 
Fair enough yeah I guess so. I didn't put it very well because I'm disappointed. But I searched around and found an article that explains what I can't. Because I loved the story of GTA 5, it's brilliant. Check out this article if you have the time. Videogames are really polarizing when it comes to fun or not so I get that a lot of the issues aren't issues for other people.

It was fun for a while, got bored, sold it for $45 bucks. $15 investment for hours of fun when I was bored, worth it to me.
 
Yea I killed a guy in a high priority vehicle after he modded the shit out of it. He texted me in game and said "Why" I responded, "It's called GTA"
 
Its silly they have the bad sport thing now that I think about it. You get a bad rep for literally doing what the game wants you to do? Awesome.
 
Yea I get pissed when it makes me pay for blowing up a guys car who is chasing me trying to kill me. Cause he wants me dead, I can't use my sticky bomb to get him off me? Costs me 10k when the guy has a super car.
 
I WANT A FUCKING FUTO. isn't it simple. Just give me a goddamn futo. single player mode here. I'll get the gold membership when I come back from 3 weeks home.
 
what's up with people who get bored of the game in a month when rockstar's gonna be updating and adding to it for at least 2 years
 
The whole bad sport thing really did It for me. I'd have to sit there and get run over repeatedly losing all my ammo in the process and couldn't even use my grenade launcher to retaliate or I'd be warned.

I found flying the buzzard and shooting at people fun but guess what... Blew up cars and got in trouble. So dumb man
 
i haven't had the time out thing yet and i've blown up at least 10 cars in the past week (accidentally got 5 at once with the jet vs. the impound lot), ammo is cheap as fuck, what do you expect for driving a stolen car?, what do expect for stealing an expensive car?, don't spend money on insurance for a car it's GTA they're literally everywhere you look?, again haven't encountered that problem cause i don't pay for free cars

aside from the timeout thing which i don't fully understand having not had a problem with it yet (i get warned like 5 times every day that i'm a bad sport but as far as i can tell there's zero consequence), these problems you speak of are inconsequential unless you actually choose to insure a car for whatever reason
 
? you don't respawn where you die, and try using say, bullets instead of grenades? works for me...

seems the best option for you guys is to stop getting pwned
