Aah man! Just got my xbox that I left home before leaving for whistler. thanks god for GTA, dead season is gonna go by really quick. Already played like 5-6hours. That game is addicting. Just started to collect the element for the jewel store heist. How did you guys do it? I took, good driver, bad gunner and good hacker, is that good?
 
MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN AN INVITE ONLY SESSION. Buy one of the 15k bikes. Take it to LSC and fully customize it as much as you can. Then drive around and leave the online session. Wait for single player to load up and then you go back to an invite only session. Drive the bike to the LSC in the middle of the map. Once inside press start LB A A and that will take you to the store then press b as soon as it loads. If you do it right you should spawn on foot inside the LSC and your bike around the corner. Go get the bike and try it again. As soon as you spawn around the corner on the bike you can start selling. Drive into the shop, sell, quickly start LB A A and repeat
 
I thought online was gonna be ruined by other people going around constantly harassing and killing you, but they really do a great job of spreading everyone out to do their own thing.

it's funny too, some people are quite nice. I got stranded out in the mountains, and some random player drove out there, picked me up, and dropped me back off in town.
 
hahah thats awesome. I was doing a mission for Simone where you need a hummer, had stolen, repainted, and was ready to deliver. Some asshole is waiting for me outside of the shop and guns me down. I had just come from doing 3 survivals so I was armed like crazy. Blew up the car with him inside, drove up to a top hill, sniped him down, then stole a helicopter and sniped him from atop a building. Idiot didn't know who he was fucking with.
 
are you playing some other game? I walk around in passive mode and still get kill/runover constantly, my car was blown up 4 times i hate it.
 
Are you paying attention to the white blurbs? If I see a white blurb in the area I hit down arrow twice and see the map larger to know if they're coming for me and take cover.

Also one thing I never do is walk around on foot unless I have to. People will just plow you over easily.
 
well at first i thought passive means you can't get hurt by other players. 2nd off all it sucks when i come back from a mission and respond in front of someone who blows my head off with a shotgun.
 
I don't know, because even when I activated it, i still get shot and killed in cars. I don't kill people in the game and i never even got a periodic reward.
 
"Passive mode is only active while you are on foot (Although you can still get ran over by other players, on the plus side, you can still run them over also) . While inside a vehicle, you are able to shoot and get shot at and in the process, get killed. Your vehicle is not immune to Passive Mode. It costs $100 to activate Passive Mode. It is activated through the interaction menu."

Well that is dumb. You can be shot in a car and killed but not shot while on foot. Yet you can be run over but not shot on foot. That makes no sense.

I only kill when I get killed or see someone tailing me.
 
And I'm broke. Bought the top floor 10 car appt near the beach. It's so sweet. Best thing about it is when you steal a car and put it in the garage it puts a tracker on it for you so you don't have to. All you have to then buy is the insurance and repaint and it's yours. Time to steal some cars.
 
heres a fun little thing to do. Somehow acquire either the jet, or any attack chopper, go around fucking kids up and make them pay you a ransom to not kill them anymore. i guess people actually do that shit when they're playing. i was reading up on gtaforums and this dude made the whole room pay him like 10g's per player to not waste them.
 
Alright. In my opinion, the online experience is really flawed. Biggest problem is the static nature and mandated "path" you have to take upon starting. Opposing players literally just stake out spawn points and locations that you're forced to go to. I was killed twice (sniped instantly) trying to go to the fucking clothing store that I had no choice but to go to. I was then killed twice going into a convenient store that Lamar puts you onto.

Not to mention the idiotic character design method. Really? I need to pick my paternal and maternal grandparents? Ok...so why are they all brown? I am a fucking ginger, whitebread, freckled weirdo and despite my tinkering, I look like a fucking night club owning persian. Tight.

I don't know, maybe I'll come to appreciate it, but thus far, I've seen next to no cooperation/collaboration, and a lot of sabotage type shit.
 
I keep reading that tehy are going to ban for this.. Not sure of it or not, anyone have any experience or heard of this?

I'm only gonna work the glitch for about 300k and stop.
 
I love rockstars twitter. "Hey guys please don't cheat and do money glitches. You'll be able to pay us real money to cheat eventually."
 
I got John marston (from RDR) as my ancestor. It was odd. Wish it was more like saints row character customization.

Also I'm afraid by the time I get the money to buy both a bike and garage, they'll patch it over.
 
Theyre gonna patch it this monday I would think. I bought a garage and had just enough to buy the bike. Doing the thing but it only gives me 2.4k each sale. Takes alot longer to get the money up, but its a free 2.4k each time.
