GTA V

of course the first copy I got had absolutely no information on the installation disc, went back and got another one, game seems ok, I feel like Im missing something tho reading how great it is

its not something you realize right away. It takes a while to really realize the depth of the game and how unlimited it is.

...unless you're either a fanboy, where you'll 'fucking love it' from the picture on the disk; or one of those annoying douchebags who feels the compulsive desire to write 'overrated' on any review he ever writes.

I've returned to university, where I have no TV, PS3 or even GTA disk. All three belong to my brother when I'm at home.

The cost of skiing...

There's a cheat for it a few pages back. I also posted a video on where to find one at the top of one of the peak. Find the cable car and take it up. Or drive the dune buggy up.

two things I still wish they would put in a GTA game. I'm not sure how feasible it is though.

Actual damage...to buildings, infrastructure etc. Like if you blow up a giant ass object next to a building, it would be cool if it did damage to the building that gets repaired by construction workers over a few days or something. Crash a car into a building...damage. Big enough explosion...complete collapse etc. I think that would be like the final touch of realism.

I also wish they would add natural disasters like earthquakes (especially sincei t's set in cali), tsunami, hurricanes, dust storms etc.

So sick. Downhill mountain biking is amazing, hunted animals from a train, got killed by a shark, climbed a huge ass mountain almost all the way on a Harley and so much more so far after a few hours

A realistic weather system really is something games have never used before, so I'd love to see that come the next installment in a few years. And with the next gen tech, its doable. I'd also like to see at least a 1/4th of the buildings be accessible. Definitely keep the full character customization along with the cars, and purchaseable properties. I love that aspect in games.

I like the stocks but you can only really make money off of them during the assassination missions, I'd love to see tht fluctuate like the real market. Also, I can already tell online is going to be unlike anything on the market, and will probably be an instant hit. Map needs to be way larger. It's perfect on V, but i want it to take me good while to get from one end of the map to the other.

dude...the game is based on killing people and completely senseless violence. You really think that the reason they won't do something like that is out of sensitivity? Maybe

is anyone else seriously derping out hard at the flight school helicopter tests?

i cant even seem to make the chopper go forwards.

fuck!

I just completed the heist with the submarine and the crazy weapon and then had to GIVE IT BACK. WTF. I could have stole the cargo ship but picked the other one.. Do you get the money if you steal the cargo ship??

I just want to go home and game. I wish you could actually browse the internet on the computers im the game though, Who else tried to get on ns? Lol

regardless of 9/11 I would still love to see actual damage done to buildings.

I don't think it's a 9/11 issue anyway...I think it's a "how would we implement it" issue

maybe I'm wrong

They actually removed a bunch of missions from the game that came out in 2001. And pushed the release date back a couple of weeks/months. All because of 9/11. I think one of the missions had something to do with blowing up a building, and something about hunting terrorists if I remember correctly. Came across this article online a few days ago explaining the whole story of gta from the first game and all the way up to V.

In open world games it would be really really hard to have the ability to destroy buildings for the simple fact that the building you just destroyed may be important to a mission later in the game. It'd be tough to do a mission where you have to rescue your friend from a building that you happened to destroy a few days before.

I mean, if you go on a serious rampage and level the whole city, what would happen to how the missions in the game work?

Pisser, I selected the submarine heist but havent completed it yet. I guess I was hoping to get the scuba skill set also though. but that's kind of a bummer knowing that the mission will be all for nothing

Ive decided mountain biking is the shit in this game. Preferrably downhilling. Franklins been doin steezy three's off massive cliffs all day.

road gaps are the best there are so many cliffs set up right next to roads that you can gap its amazing, also has anyone noticed the races (all kinds, offroad, water, and street) are extremely easy? i beat them all first try pretty much

flying the helicopter in this game is garbage. I aced flight school, but in GTA IV I could fly the helicopter to perfection. Weaving through buildings, etc.

now the damn thing just rocks back and forth no matter what I do. It's like trying to fly it drunk

i just spent 10 minutes climbing all the way to the top of the construction crane downtown. I thought it would let me jump over to the building, but i was wrong. nice BASE jump though.

I hate flying the heli's. However the driving is infinitely better than GTA IV. The cars actually track instead of sliding around everywhere like they're on ice.

To be honest, im just in the mountainous part of the map just cruising around. There are trails leading up to the peaks that have pretty fun cliff drops and stuff like that. The top of the tram has trails leading down, and a broken bridge thing right next to it that is fun for bike base jumps.

Biking base jumps??? I gotta go find that bridge that sounds awesome. And to whom started the broken ankles crew once online starts up I'll join and can you be in more than one crew? Like how does all that work?
