GTA V

Game is sweet so far. Just played a bit and its pretty fun. I did a few missions and 2 guys have met now they were workin together and whatnot. I want to steal a plane and go skydiving already..
 
I did the mission where we had to get the kid but didn't get the ship back. I'm assuming we steal the yacht back?
 
Weelllppp, I can't seem to get the most recent system update because Xbox Live can't locate my hard drive. I don't even...

I can see my hard drive when I go into system settings and storage and all that, but for some reason it won't let me download the system update or connect to Xbox Live. I just started downloading the first disc for the game, so I hope I can at least deal with shit offline until I can call and bitch at Microsoft. Derp.

i wish the laser in my xbox didn't shit the bed. Taking it down to a shop later this week so see if they can fix it..or just buy a new xbox
 
Well worth the hype. Game plays so fucking good, its unreal. Massive map as well. So much shit to do, its almost overwhelming.
 
It is overwhelming. It's insane how big it is. Like in GTA 4 you can get comfortable with the city and familiar, but this is like too big
 
I love it. I like having games I know I will be playing for months and months to come. Great soundtrack, too. The driving is fucking great too. Soo much fun. Love the customization.

Well, I finally got to play it for a few hours last night before bed. I'm really impressed. Reminds me of San Andreas on GTAIV steroids. I can't think of the last video game that actually had me itching to get home from work to play more.

My favorite thing so far is just the randomness and hilarity of the peds. So far I have seen a guy get smoked by a truck after stealing a lady's purse, 4 gang members get into a shootout with cops, and, possibly my favorite moment...a dude on a mountain bike trying to avoid my car and riding straight off a cliff while yelling at me.
 
Gameplay is freaking awesome

Graphics are hideous, much worse than that of GTA IV, but the world is so huge that it is acceptable.

Hopefully the PS4 version will be prettier
 
I can't confirm base jumping or wing suits, but you can definitely skydive from planes and choppers. I havent done it yet so I don't know if you can keep a parachute to jump off a building or something.
 
Same with last night.

My roommate and I got about 3% done, then just messed around. Driving up the mountain, explosive punches, flying a blimp, plane, helicopter....

Going hard on the story mode tonight.
 
So figured out the whole flipping people off while riding a bike... But still cant figure out how to do it while walking. Someone?
 
I prefer running up to someone and slapping the fuck out of them. Or that backhand. I punched some women in the ovaries and died a little inside.
 
That's what I thought, I've just heard my bro try the other method and things didn't go so well for him. He only ended up with about $3M so someone must have been killed.
 
Forgot to add, after you've been Trevor for a while and you can switch back to Franklin Lester will start to offer you assassination missions. These are normally so he can fix the stock markets, and he tells you in the cutscene which one to put money on (the first is betapharmaceuticals). Listen to the cutscene so you know who to put money on, fail the mission so you get access to all three characters. Put all the money each character has on that company, switch back to franklin and do the mission. First mission doubled my money.
 
Stole a plane and flew super high, jumped out thinking ill figure out what button it is for a parachute.... I think you gotta buy one.
 
i let my roommate play and the first thing he did was drive to a strip club and get a lapdance until he could take the stripper home and fuck her. Sapphire, you a cheap hoe
 
UP AND ATOM

Just regular driving controls really, it's just a bit slower. I found the right and left bumpers are the best for steering it
 
I had special edition ordered.

So I got this code, redeemed it, now I can just call the blimp lady, and go to the blimp farm
