My girlfriend just made me choose between her and skiing. She lives in Silverdale and I'm in Everett... so I really can only go over there on weekends... so you can guess what happened. Instead of going over there to see her, I went skiing. So anyways, it sucks but I told her I will never stop skiing for anyone or anything. Fucking bitch.
 
dude you rock. i promised myselft i would do the same thing if it ever became a problem, and it hasnt become a problem because i promised myself that!!! I dont think having a girlfriend would be worth it unless she snowbaorded or skeed a very good amount, period.
 
you are the standard by which all skier men should live by. i would do the same. but seriously, what a fucking bitch. no offense to you, but come on.
 
yeah, it would be hard to sustain a relationship with someone who wasn't on the mountain with me every weekend.

does she ski at all? or could you have gotten her into it?
 
she went up with me once. refused to ski so she rented a board. she said she had fun, but she never wanted to go again. i didnt really care because i hated being on the bunny hill all day anyways

I was with a girl for 5 years (cindy, some of you know her). And she's been skiing as long as I have (since we could hold our weight on two feet basically).

then she dumped my ass, which she now regrets.

I dated another girl for a few months since then who's been boarding a few times, skiing a few times, but it just wasn't the same. And she was a flaky bitch, so screw that. $12,000!!!!!!

The top requirement for me (next only to a nice ass) is that a girl MUST be a skier. Not "has skied" or "would like to try it".... they've got to be a skier.

now I'm trying to convince myself its ok to get back together with c-tac.
 
even though she has changed for the better, i still think its a bad idea to get back together with her, even though that means i'd see kill bitch more often. :P
 
as long as she's not fat or too skinny, i'm game. all types of women are gorgeous to me. i love 'em. the only pre-requisite is that she likes snow.
 
jonesy makes a good point. yes, I do say that all girls are trouble, but all girls are also girls! Gotta love em!

but you gotta hate em too. its a tricky balance.

And I know that it never works out getting back together with someone, people always seem to delude themselves into thinking it'll work, but it never does..... but it might work with us.

haha, you know girls have the same problem here! i had to break up with my boyfriend two weeks ago because of skiing. i'm starting to think that relationships should just be avoided during the ski season

I can barely understand that... I would want my boyfriend to be completly happy if I cared about him and if skiing makes him happy and it means time on the mountains to achieve his goals then that's what he has to do... since I ski it's not too much of an issue... you made the right decision man.. you need to find a girl who is a skier... it makes things less complicated...
 
yeah, but i think we all know how increadibly hard it is to find a girlfriend that skis. thats why im even open to snowboarders. :p but anybody who knows me knows that skiing takes presidents over most things durring the winter. just like how i didn't go to see my best friend because crystal opened. he understood.
