since im not going to hood this year and ill have a lot of time at home, ive decided that I wana try and grow some bud sucessfully. It's probably a little too cold still but its gona get real warm soon. anyone who's grown sucessfully have any tips? I have instructions but new england climate is different.

yea i grew outside last year. It was probably one of the best things I have ever done. It was so satisfying to go and look at my plants.

My neighbor was growing and had 20 some plants and some wankers came and stole them all.

But I had 3 plants that I harvested and they were some dank

dont tell anyone you are growing either, im not growing this year.

growing pot is incredibly easy, its a weed afterall, it will grow in most climates, here are some general tips that might be obvious but might as well tell you anyway

1. dont grow on your property (if your growing outdoors try to do so somewhere inconspicuous)

2. deer and animals love to eat pot consider that in your placement

3. clip off leaves that are dying, insect ridden, exc.

4. there are two different routes you can take

a. plant a shitload of seeds all over a section of the forest then come back in a few months to see what happened ( a bunch will survive probably)

b. plant a few good plants and take care of them (more risky [criminally] and if a deer decides to have an afternoon snack you're fucked till next season)

5. always consider sunlight in the placement as well as what other plants it needs to fight for nutrients

6. don't brag or tell people

7. the less you go to your plants the less chance you'll get busted

^You have to be kidding, it isnt that easy idiot, It takes a lot of care and nutrients and knowing what you are doing. You cant just stick a seed in soil and expect dank bud to just pop out

Correct me if I'm wrong, but theres no medical history of anyone having lung or brain cancer solely from smoking marijuana.

Weed is easy to grow, but growing good weed is a far more difficult task.

Plus "weed" isn't really a species of plant, weed is just a term for unwanted plants that spread easily. Marijuana that has quality buds to smoke is wayyy different.

 
just find a mad sunny and humid spot, put it in some soil get a non shinny plant cage around and and just check to make sure it has enough water. i did this in New England and got it about 2.5 ft tall till a fuckin animal ate it cause i didnt have a cage

 
indoor plants take alot of care, but there are so many different types of weed that u can grow. U can get indoor shit or outdoor shit and there are so many different types of both. Some grow alot easier than others. So u cant say that weed is hard to grow. Some kinds are hard and some kinds are real easy.

and keep in mind if your over 18, the drug laws are so harsh now you could spend some hard time in prison if you ever got caught by the police/dea. I'm pretty sure if the dea, federal government, got involved in your case you would do a minimum of 15 years for marijuana manufactre.

 
but in all honesty, if u dont sell, ur chances of getting caught are extremely slim. And if u have a woods to plant it in u are pretty much in the clear.

well just think about it as if u dont grow it in ur backyard, most of us dont. How many times have the cops come and searched through the shrubs in ur backyard. Exactly, never. So if they dont have any suspicion(like u selling it) then they're never gonna find it.

yah, but yet somehow, 1 in 6 people in federal prision are there for marijuana manufature or dealing. I dont think you realize how many people do get busted, and how many areas are flown over with helicopters. I'm not really trying to argue, I'm just saying the most obvious thing to say, dont get caught.

when they fly over, arent they just looking for the uv rays given off by heat lamps? So if ur growin outside it wouldnt matter. I could be wrong though, i dont know much about it.

my friend has an uncle that owned a tomato farm and planted the weed in rows between the tomato rows.

worked apparently and no one from the sky is a wiser.

then again this is canada, the great kingstoner/kingstoned.

when they fly over they look for the sun shining off the leaves. thats how they catch farmers that cut out a huge row in the middle of there corn and try to grow it. are you gonna buy seeds? or are you just gonna go buy a dime, and plant all the seeds you get in your dime?

if you have a couple of plants, the risk is really minimal. the helicopters look for huge fields of it in the middle of wilderness areas that people are growing. they dont go puttering around small wooded areas becuase they cant see shit

if you do indoor growing right, and have a perfect mix of ultraviolet, infrared and cool white light, mixed with perfect soil conditiosn and PH, you can get a plant that yields up to 400 gs or about 15 OUNCES

^yeah that shits crazy. Like u get real good shit that way but u can get busted alot easier. I know they have detectors that they fly over with that detect the uv rays that come out of heat lamps and stuff. If ur house looks suspicious enough thats enough for them to get a search warrant and ur busted.

What they look for is unusal amounts of radiation, most households have lamps or flourescent light bulbs that could be marijuana lamps too.

With indoor growing, typcially 1 watt = .5 gram... so if you have a 1000 watt light... you get 500 grams or 1 lb.

 
couple of things about growing outdoors. the less effort you put in, the better. weed is a strong plant, if it's going to make it to maturation, it shouldn't need much of your help. there's nothing worse then babying your plants then having some punks jack em or some deer eat them. throw in your seeds/clones and let nature run it's course.

you should always plan for 70% attrition. most of them will die, be eaten, be stolen, etc. plan for the worst, hope for the best. the best time to plant them is probably late may/early june i'd say. don't plant them too early, or else they get too tall. i had friends last year who had their plants get to 7 meters tall (no joke) and they ended up being too top heavy and falling over. they only cropped two pounds from their plants. spiders are your friends btw, they kill the other insects that hurt your plants. make sure to spread out your plants. don't put all your eggs in one basket. spread them around in different spots.

i know people who booby trap the fuck out of their spots. this is to deter plant eating animals and plant stealing thugs. i've heard some funny stories about what happens when the traps work...

and the most important thing: do it in BC. the laws are more lax and the climate is the best for outdoors.

 
The heli's look for a heat signature that the acual plant gives off. Every plant has it's own specific signature (from what I've heard from people who would know, I'm pretty damn sure on this stuff, but don't quote me) and therefore any plant can be found. I've heard that a heli can identify a single plant in a field of other plants. Supposedly there's a few other plants which have a very similar signature, but idk about that.

Just something to keep in mind, keep your plantings to a minimum, stay the fuck away from it while it's growing, and watch out for heli's.

Funny how much of this shit I know, given that I don't deal, or smoke at all.

nah its not that sensitive i researched a court case like this for a school projekt at school. they infrared thermometer the windows of suspiscious buildings looking for abnormal temperature gradients (one window is a lot hotter than another) the individual temperatures come when you burn the plant not taking it temperature. but just caus eyour building has a wierd temp doesnt mean they can search it. its still illegal till they have probable cause
