Grousse Mountain

Next weekend I'll be staying with someone who is really close to Grousse. Should I ski there, or are the conditions bad?

 
If your talking about Grousse mountain in vancouver, its small, well be either slushy or icy but has tons of snow. If i were you i would stay away from the local mountains around vancouver and just go to whistler, but if you can't get there Grouse can be fun

 
Yeah, I'd like to go to Whistler, but it's pretty far from where the person lives. I also won't be staying for too long, so I don't think I would have time for it.

 
its all good, Cypress, seymour and grousee are all next to each other so you can hit up each one, and its fun to night ski and hit the park under the lights

 
grouse has a pretty wicked park right now and on the 23 theres a comp and slush cup dunno if your staying around those dates ... tell me when , cause i'm up grouser like every day

 
I'll be in Vancouver both the 23rd and 24th. I would probably just ski on the 24th, but I have no idea yet.

 
Just don't go to seymour...cause unless you want to hike to hte top to build a booter the mtn sucks ass. Go to grouse if you are going to one of the locals....and yah dude...grouse has an amazing park. And we have been getting mad snow....we're up to like 450cm or somethign. Message me if you're coming up bro.

My friend was telling me about that place cause he lives near there....he told me they have a good park...

I'll be skiing there tomorrow, but I don't know what time; in the afternoon is the closest I can estimate. How's it looking for tomorrow?

It does not reallty matter because Grouse has a good park and Whislter is 1h 30min away

But still go to Whislter

 
Grouse has a sick park now. also purgatory is a good run when its not icey as shit.

grouse is super sick this year. their rail line in my opinion is way better than even whislers. they've got a couple of really nice tables too and the backdrop of the city is perfect for filming. if your in town definately hit up grouse.

 
heres the deal with Grouse for the rest of the year. A rep from snowboard Canada was talking to the Park operator and wants to build a 'super park' at Grouse. They built one at Big White and are going to do the same at Grouse. It might stay on sidecut but they might move it to a bigger area of the mtn. They are going to put in a 'large' quarter pipe and make a few more decen tables. Im not sure if anymore rails will be added but I doubt it. Hopefully they get this super park started soon if at all because the projected closing date is April 16th... thats just 4 days away from , well.. the good day..Peace
