BUMP

Big rebuild happening right now. Looking like 4 or 5 jump line down the left side. Gonna be going OFF! Stepdown into a step up to start things off...so sick. Get up there!
 
ahh so that's what all the big mounds of snow are for. i'm AMPED on grouse park right now. even today was fun.

seymour, if you want my complete allegiance, build good jumps and make many of them in a row. you must top grouse's 4-5. (or at the very least 3!)
 
I was up there on yesterday and it was horrible!!!!!! First off there was ice powder.... Second the big terrain park had 1 jump and the rest were closed down. And if that wasn't bad enf the rails were really shitty because the park crew didn't know how to make jumps onto the rails, + they were making snow so it was super icy. So I decide to go over to the mini park were some good skiers were throwing down 720 and 540 on this mini jump, also the first mini jump was built on top of the LANDING! so people would go off of it and over shoot it, I could go on and on about how shitty enf said The best that shall not be named SUCKS.

tomorrow morning is full rebuild with 4 jumps planned, thats why the park wasnt being maintained exept rookie
 
1. ice powder sucks, i feel for you and yes i believe that is all grouse's fault for having ice powder, make sure u report that ice powder to guest relations and file a formal complaint, they may listen and fix it...lol2. name a north shore mountain that can build a legit 4 jump line in 1 day?3. shame on grouse for making snow to try and make their park better...bad grouse4. rookie park means small features for learning and progressing, so sorry their are no HL jumps in the rookie park, once again, maybe file a formal complaint and guest relations may be able to help...5. as far as the rails go, if there was a park rebuild sched. the next day, maybe they would fix them..6. "beast" is spelt like that, not "best"....

i'm not trying to be an ass, i'm just saying that maybe it was a bad day to go up? and maybe think about everything else that goes on, not just how you see it, put yourself in the other persons shoes, it can open your eyes.

oh, and i still dont like grouse. everyone just keeps raving about it and i miss some of u norts who wont shred a real mtn. lolz
 
today the stepover/stepup (whichever u prefer to call it) was closed so it was a 3 jump line, but the 4 jump line is in place, i have no choice but to say that grouse has the best park on the shore hands down, with the rails they have in place and the 4 jump line that is legit, it is now ontop of the shore, thats right cypress and seymour i'm calling you out, no more talking until u get a legit 4 jump line, if u do i'll be impressed, otherwise stop whining how about how much you hate grouse, it gets really old really fast. and to all the people who a boycotting the "walmart of the vancouver ski scene" or "the beast who shouldn't be named" GOOD! stay away, more fun for us when your not there, and u guys are missing out, the vibe is sick in the park and i am setting the record straight.
 
grouse has been doing good things lately. im impressed. the park is soo fun. once the jumps are dialled it will be even sicker. only 2 jumps are hitable at the moment but the rails are real good. next week will be bangin and the 48 hrs
 
reals i cleared all 3 even with going around the step up?

but anyway grouse has the biggest bestest jumps so suck up your pride and come check them out.
 
No one hate's grouse because of there park. it's because of the people there's to damn many and to many beginners that climb up the landings of jumps for no reason.
 
that happens at all mountains, that's not why we hate grouse.

i personally dislike the mountain because of their general lack of empathy towards loyal customers who keep coming back because they enjoy the mountain and their central dogma which is catering to the whims of foreigners in order to make maximum profits.

and because of their retarded out of bounds policies.

and because in past years their park has been utter shit

and because of people getting yelled at for safety bars

and because of animal cruelty

and because of world hunger and the stigma of hivs/aids in africa

and because of poverty

and because of people that eat puppies
 
i would just like to point of from a financial standpoint, grouse needs the tourists in order to offer the cheap pass, the have to sublet the cost somewhere. i am not taking getting yelled at for safety bars as a legit excuse, its there to be put down, that dummy who wrote the whole thread about how he wanted an unrestricted view of the mountains, thats complete bs. unless ur eyes are located near ur groin i'm pretty sure you can see just fine, so suck itup princess, zav, this is not anything against you, i just tried to explain some of the stuff (lol and got a little reeeeeved up about safety bars haha)
