dont armadas have extra thick edges for rails? it was either that or PE's i dont remember. I broke my edge on a rail early in the season when they were sharp. then i ran over a rock and broke the same edge in the same place.

 
grinding is a fun part of skiing. sure it will mess up ur edges a little but who wants sharp edges, they only help u slow down.

PE's have extra thick edges im pretty sure...and olympic ski jumping skis would be best since they have no edges....and ive heard that dynastar edges are thin and not durable...how are TM's on top of the list then

i was 'grinding' with some brand new skis (or at least going over the rail) and they didnt seem to have any damage so i think that most likely they wont get too damaged unless you use them alot.... like several years... i dont know anything so dont expect a right answer from me

Yeah candides are definatly problematic on rails. All my edges on my candides are cracked right under the boot, and I went to stick in a new edge in a place where I am missing a piece, and the salomon edge was nearly twice as thick as the dynastar one.
