i agree heaths edits are fucking awesome, i have never seen yours but i can sure bet they are better then the edit that is contained in this thread.
 
yes the eheath jokes are indeed very very old but still good when used at the proper time. and i really like the freddy bridewesser promo, always good to hear some cali p in edits.

1.Canon Rebel T2i 850 Bucks (YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO FILM AT ALL. Your basically making the t2i look like absolute shit. And that saddens me)

2. Camera Accesories 400 Bucks (Why have camera accesories if you have no idea how to use the camera?)

3. Multiple Domain Names 300 bucks (YOu like 13 years old. You dont need 3 or 4 different websites. You shit is not worth promoting)

4. Vinyl Cutter 500 bucks (Selling stickers to your friends doesnt mean your a badass)

5. Screen Printer 600 bucks (Selling grind edit tshirts that steal a Local Snowboard Shops font is so aawes and wowsers)

Total= 2600 bucks roughly that your parents through down the drain.

Everyone at the resort know i never hate on anyone and always have something positive to say but seriously if you think that you got what it takes to make it with the big dogs then your outa your mind. WE BUILT A PROGRESSION PARK FOR A REASON. Stay outa the park until your skill level gets better. Itll honestly save you from people talking shit.
 
Why would you post an edit and ask for positive comments only? where do you see that helping you? It's like you're asking for compliments blindly..
 
please tell me the song choice of your "party in the park" vid is just coincidence with the "One gLove" trailer. i know it must be since it just came out but im surprised im the only one whos picked up on that

Posting your video and asking for positive comments only makes no sense... by posting, you are welcoming criticism. if nobody criticizes you, great. if people do criticize you, just learn from your mistakes so you do a better job next time!

by requesting and receiving positive comments only, you will never know what you are doing wrong.

that said, keep it up! if you want to take my advice and get serious (and respectful) critiques that will help you become better filmmakers (and skiers), post your edit in the Media & Arts forum!!
 
and i strongly, strongly advise you to do so, there are a number of things that should be done differently in your next video. that's not a bad thing, we all had to start somewhere. but you need to be open to learning and progressing
 
constructive criticism. grab your spins. don't repeat tricks. don't use that angle on every rail shot, you want to see the skier coming into the rail and riding out. also, don't waste a couple seconds of the edit just pointed at a rail waiting for the skier to come, that bores people. end on something better than a pencil 180.

sorry kid but you can't expect to post your own noobish edit in ski gabber and expect people not to hate.
