Griffon Schizo

Are the Marker Griffon Schizo's adjustable to different BSL without needing to remount? if they are what is the apr. range of adjustabillity?

Yes - think of them this way, it's a Griffon binding on a track that allows the entire binding in it's current BSL to move along the ski. However, you can simply turn the screw on the heel piece and change the BSL just like on the normal Griffon, however it can really only be moved about 2cm on this track (about 1 full boot size), and it depends on how it is mounted as to if that's 2cm forward, 2cm backwards, 1cm one way and 1cm the other way, or anything other than that. So, if you want the BSL to be able to get bigger (for example) by 2cm then have the binding mounted with the track all the way forward (although, some shops wont do this because it requires math when using a jig - but if it's a really legit shop they'll probably do it for you) so that you can move it back (so if it's mounted for a 27 boot, you can get a 28 in there, maybe even a 28.5).

I'm getting them mounted at traditional + 3,5 (tech recommended) riding

28 SPK's atm with a BSL of 327 but I'm considering another pair of boots

wich will most likely have a smaller BSL.

I'ts a legit shop so I hope that they'll do the job.

Thanks for the fast reply bro!

Just talk to them before mounting, they'll be able to answer exactly what they can do for you.

hey guys I am pretty much in the same situation. I want to get some k2 revivals from online (germany) with an awesome package. However it just says choose binding and it gives you the total does that mean that any binding I choose will be mounted on or is this a technical flaw considering that the k2's need to be mounted with the schizo?
cheers

No, sport conrad sells them flat without the schizo insert so they can mount any binding on them. I ordered some with regular griffons centermounted.
