GRETE ON HEAD

She left for the same reason Sarah left salomon, to have a better/more safe part in the company ( im assuming, since thats what was written in the article). You can't be a pro skier all your life, and well it just doesn't pay that well.

Head has some pretty shit womans skis right now.......and the market is on a stead growing rate. Head sees that as an opportunity to make some cash, but they need someone who knows the market. The ARW is argueably the best woman's park ski out there, so having Grete on the team just makes common sence. Armada is awsome, but being awsome just doesn't pay the bills like the big boys can.
 
Leaving ARMADA for Head that is just stupid. I wonder how much more they are paying her or if she left for other reasons. Now the real question is where is Peter Olenick going to go or will he be unsponsored this year.

i think its pretty cool, head needs a good, known girl skier and armada has so many ams that they'll probably get a new one soon. seeing as some of the top skiers went to roxy,its good to see someone going to a different company
 
Im dissapointed because armada is so sick and she was such an essential part to that team, but I definitely respect her decision, shes goin places. If anything it iwll make armada step up, and maybe sponsor some up and coming girl skiiers we havnt heard of yet. 
 
that kind of left armada to be just one giant sausage party

but, i think its a good move for head, they are pretty weak in the women ski area
 
She needs to make a womans ski with real width and power to it. The fairer sex is still stuck with narrower and more pansyish skis, and they deserve better.

I find it funny how this site is so biased towards Armada. As soon as someone leaves Armada everyone is uber surprised. Armada isnt the be all and end all of skiing you know!
 
I reckon Head is a pretty good brand, based on some of their skis. I mean at the moment I would say the J.O pro is one of the better skis on the market (and not just because of the graphic on the ski itself).

K2, Elan , Armada, ect. are all really good brands but terrain parks are becoming increasingly popular/mainstream and with that innovation and corporation will follow...
