Grete off Armada?

I just read in the new freeskier that Grete has officially left Armada, for a new, soon to be decided company. I found this pretty hard to believe, seeing she has been with them for quite a while.

Any word on where she plans to go? My first thought was Volkl, but thats only an assumption.
 
they would stop selling girl skis just because their one girl skier leaves. Thats pretty dumb marketing if you ask me.
 
yeah, it makes sense why they kept it, but it's basically her pro model.

just kinda weird that they didn't change it or anything.
 
Ya know, I was going to say that too. Haha, that would be so sick, and a compliment to the wonderful women's skis they have.I reckon the skis style/designs suit her.

But yeah, I thought Volkl too, but I dunno, I guess Roxy could be possible.
 
Well, the season is starting within a month/month and a half for some of us, so we will soon see who she signs with.

true but her decision to leave must have been a very recent one. its funny how the arw's still say "designed by grete eliassen"
 
why? it's not like they are all of a sudden not designed by her just because she dropped. Might as well milk her name for all it is worth.
 
whats the 4bihouse? dude, is that why the 4bier's where bandannas, they let everyone know they are bi but dont want to come out of the closet yet? i was unaware that such a bi sexual scene existed within the skiing community. it kind of scares me.
 
yeah dynastar for the skis, lange for the boots. but they have their own R&D so its even better. roxy is getting more legit with each season
 
Yea it doesn't get much better than that. If I was girl I'd probably be interested in Roxy, seems like all their skis are so pinner though, no fatties.
 
roxy=not legit...first off their team is hilarious, probably the blondest girls i've ever met..second no one on that team is exceptional...and they cater to girls who are like "OMG, SKIING IS LIKE, SO HOT RIGHT NOW! I TOTALLY SHOULD TRY SKIING NOW CAUSE IT'S LIKE SO COOL!"...sorry dude, dynastars skis are legit, but roxy is pathetic....no offense to anyone who rides them, but seriously...no, no good, i felt like i was going to die...roxy=fashion
 
Sarah does huge cork 10s in the pipe, also won the WSI, XGames, ESPY etc. You don't consider that "exceptional" in womens freeskiing?

Maybe you're the blond one with a comment like that....

haha, sarah burke is overrated...seriously, she's good, don't get me wrong, but she has no style, all the movie parts i've seen her in suck..and her attitude in general is just lame..she acts way too bad ass...and roxy skis are about as stiff as the spaghetti i ate last night...ido they honestly expect girls ripping on these things..they just feel pathetic on your feet...i like knowing that my skis are going to hold up through whatever i take them on...the only reason roxy started making skis is because they knew there was a market and they could exploit. And whoever said jess cummings was really good...wow..that's all i need to say...
 
i jsut have never really liked roxy.. nothing to do with skiing, more like they just have hideous pink board shorts and stuff... in fact.. i didn't even know they were sponsoring women skiers until like.. a year ago.. maybe more i dono.. i just dont really pay attention to that crap. oh wel!
 
skijunky, roxy is doing more for girls skiing then you will ever come close to so shut your fucking mouth before you bash on them because you're 'too good' of a skier to ride them

just because they dont accommodate you and your big back country skiing doesnt mean they arent good, they are perfect for most of the park rippers and east coast girls

She doesn't ski park she skis powder and she is actually really very cool and i stole a beanie from her, but we deffinally aren't representing newschoolers on here, or skiing were just kind of being pmsy
