He got older and decided to move on with his life, even though film producing seems liek a sick job you can get burnt out. He made a movie back in like 99' though, Fistful Of Moguls, but hes been around for a while so it's to be expected that he moves on with his life. And for all the people who don't know who he is, he basically started making all the old school extreme skiing movies with Plake, Hattrup, Scot Schmidtt, and those kind of guys, some really sick movies if you ask me.

Greg does stuff like music videos and Nissan comercials now...he making real money directing stuff outside the industry...Still skiing in whistler though as far as I've heard...keepin it real

 
him and the snowman crew where str8 illin. 'times waits for snowman' is one of the sickest movies out. one guy does a 720, another guy spins his poles by the straps in mid air. there is also a pink flamengo gap.

and not to mention the actual skiing. those fuckers where on 210s and skiing through tight ass moguls full speed and riding powder between trees. im claiming they where all better at skiing than the skiers of today.

greg stump was above warren miller movies, warren's movies are rather lame, greg stump i believe has been helping out a film company or 2 with some movies in the past few years, i may be mistaken. but his movies were very good

Nah im pretty sure fistful of moguls was from 99' because it has a lot of footage from the 98 olympics and all that mosely stuff so that would make it rather difficult to be made in 96'. Maybe your thinking of State Of Mind or one of the earlier PBP movies.

3. Skiers Guide to the Galaxy

These movies all blow away any matchstick, TGR, PBP films today IMO. It should be mandatory viewing for all rookies.

^^^ Yep, my dad used to watch all those movies so I can just go and grab the tape and watch them. All are sick and I honestly would much rather watch that extreme skiing more than any of the msp or tgr stuff nowadays, I just think the camera angles and what not are a lot less bland. If you havent seen any old Greg Stump films I would highly suggest getting a hold of a copy.
