Trsut me, when mods are nominated, it has NOTHIGN to do with if they've donated or not.

It simply is that if you are an active member of the site, show involvement, helpful, and have some common sense.. then you may get brought up to become a mod.

As melvs said, it just so happens that most people who are involved with the site, active members, and helpful are also donators.

This thread is primarily just a scare tactic for potential spammers and the like (hence the little 'not all mods are green' thrown in there). Every mod I've seen online has been green. Good idea, though.
