hes definately better as the indiana character, its just more rounded, i mean he's the main character. its also much more of a 'character'.

as for series best series, its obviously the tremors series. i'm not sure, but i think i saw a tremors 4 last time i was sleepwalking through blockbusters dismal cinematic library. (for the morons: i'm kidding). thats a hard question, i'd probably say godfather but gasp, i've only seen the first one.

first star wars trilogy. godfather one and two are amazing, but the third one's not that great. good, but not at the same standard as the first two.

Take a couple of hours and read the book The Godfather. I read it before i saw the movie and well...I'm one of the few people i know who think the movie is only mediocre.

My vote goes to Star Wars.

You have the lord of the rings too. I dont like them but you still have them. I like Harrison Ford better as Han Solo, he played the character well and he had attitude, i loved it.

^It's a pathetic excuse for literature? The quality of writing is absolutely awful? The stories are weak, the concept is a pathetic, underdeveloped attempt at blending two stolen ideas (yeah good job planning an entire created world in a year, you idiot), the characters are bland and irritating (and her attempt at giving them any kind of dimension simply results in their coming off as whiny little dorks), and often, Dr. Seuss makes more sense. In general, they exemplify everything that is wrong with modern culture: there is not artistic or thematic quality, nothing of value in them whatsoever. Basically, they have no redeeming qualities that I can think of.

The fact that everyone likes them just makes things worse.

you forget the whole point about this thread. it wasnt meant to critique these movies and books, it was a question of which is more entertaining. i personally enjoy harry potter, and i do see some of what your tlaking about jd_may, but thats not the point. and star wars kicks ass, cant wait til they get all of them done

what about comedy...as in the american pie series I mean all of them were just about equally as funny and usually whenever a sequal comes out to a comedy movie it isn't nearly as good. Though I'd have to say godfather, then star wars as the best movie series of all time
