Greatest Band Ever??

alright joking i guess it is subject to debate but they're my favorite band and they're pretty fucking kickass
 
Henry Bonham is his middle name sorry i was in a hurry. and i think on comfortably numb Roger Waters played the infamous solo, which is where i got the whole lead guitar thing, but i might be wrong. Now lets not go to swearing because there is no need to, Zep and Floyd are my two favorite bands, i just feel as though Bonham is a better drummer because of his damn 15 minute drum solo on Moby Dick. Im sorry but i still feel jimmy page could blow the doors off of David Gilmour, just try and figure out Bron Yur Stomp. Once again i love both bands to death i just feel Zep is better.

RHCP so true. They have been around like 25ish years, and still put on the most amazing show I have ever seen. I would say RHCP, or RATM because of what a strong message they portray. And there music is incredible.
 
Led Zeppelin is a great band, but some of their guitar riffs aren't even their own. Jimmy Page stole some of the guitar riffs from black people. Theres a reason why he never liked the song Stairway to Heaven

I'd say Pink Floyd and the Clash are definately the greatest. They really dont have a dedicated genre, and that's what makes them so creative and great. Jimi Hendrix/The Jimi Hendrix Experience was an amazing band as well. You have to be on drugs to make sweet solos/riffs like that.
 
comfortably numb solo > stairway, or anything else zepplin has to offer. don't get me wrong, i love zepplin, but gilmour fucking rips it up. oh, and the solo is played by gilmour. he and waters collaberated to write the song, with gilmour doing most of the work as it was originally written for his solo project.

also, listen to money by pink floyd. that song is fucking awesome (that goes for everyone).

The greatest band is Led Zep. Best drummer ever, great bassist, one of the best guitarists ever, and a fucking cool singer that gave women in the audience orgasms while on stage. Thats got some beating.
 
Also anyone noticed that most of the bands mentioned are English? Thought I'd toss that notion in there for ya.
