just got this eamil from evan...its lookin good!

We passed our load test! The State Inspector, Bruce Burroughs, and our engineer, Guenther Frankenstein, were here today and put the old POMA double through her paces. With some minor hic-ups, that were handled gracefully by Bill Cole and his crew, we made it through the whole test in one day. A great feat by any standards, given that we just bought this place a few months ago and have done a monumental amount of work all over the mountain.

A couple of hurdles remain, but we are thrilled by this accomplishment. We hope to be putting people on the lift by this weekend and hope to see each of you on it. Think snow.

damnet, it was supposed to open this weekend, but idk if that is to the public or just people who want to ski the park. Cause i know that the grand opening is January 7th, but i was told this weekend.
