why not just trade shows or download off archive.org for free?

Some folks look for answers, others look for fights

Some folks up in tree tops, just looking for their kites

Goes to show, you don't ever know

Watch each card you play and play it slow

the ones that were released cant be downloaded. they released some sick shows. Live in Europe '72 and Winterland '78.

My dad was a Dead Head. He saw 100 shows. And I guess i'm a chip off the old block because I think they fucking rule.

thats cool to know, except when i spend that kind of cash on a show, i would rather spend a little more and get it in a lossless format and have some C.D's and a nice cd case to go with it. iTunes only allows AAC format, which is awsome to play on your iPod but for anything elnse AAC is completly useless. Like said, just trade shows or go to archive.org, gdlive or any other number of sites. I sure wouldnt want to spend that money on a compressed file for live music

i liked that too. i own the Closing of Winterland DVD, i reccomend it to any and all Dead fans

I saw that the other day, but i use archive for all my live non-phish show needs, it has everything and its free

yea dicks picks are cool, but it doesnt have (in my opinion) the greatest Dead concert ever: New Years Eve 1971, at Winterland. they only played like 12 tunes, but all of them will blow you away...

if you downloaded anything off the internet. chances are it is in your 'My Downloads' folder. just look under there. otherwise just do a search for the file. When downloading. 3would suggest downloading the lossless file. its bigger, you convert either the .shn or .flac file to a .wav file. just look for a converting at download.com. then burn that to a disc (chances are the whole show will take up 3 discs) then take those files you downloaded and convert them to AAC in iTunes or to MP3 and you can put them on your iPod. I wouldnt suggest keeping it in .wav because the files take up so much more room. Even though you loose some quality when you compress the file, its still listenable on your iPod, its nice to always have a .wav CD made of it to listen to when you have quality speakers or headphones. I

download stuff off archive.org in vbr mp3, it is the best size/quality ratio...

how about a live music cult, any takers?
