Okay, here's the deal. My company, is moving locations and expanding. We are a trucking/warehousing company. Our new division will be called Bonnetta Logistics Group.

I need a logo designed.

And I wanna incorporate our current logo. Which I will email to interested parties... I suck at designing shit on the computer, however, I sort of know what I want.

So, if you're interested, email me, I'd appreciate any help I can get.

The picture I've taken of our logo is pretty shitty, but you'll get the idea. What I want to do is take the arrows in the picture, have them form a complete circle (as we are a logistics company) and keep the same colors and logo, so that our company stays recognized within the symbol... So, How do I upload this? As long as the logo looks good, I can color touch it myself, I think.

you do realize that most companies in industry pay about 5-10+ grand for their logo design/identity... right?

 
Yeah. But these people are good at it and willing to do it, cause they're nice people. I'd do it myself if I had the software. I know what I want, just don't have the time to learn the basics and D/L the software. But thanks for taking the wind out of my sails!

it's not that I don't think people should help you out but a companies identity is not something that is created lightly. It will have a very drastic effect on how you are perceived around our industry. It would require a certain amount of research into other similar companies iconography and identity to truly get an understanding of what would best benefit your situation. A logo is not just something you put on a business card, it is one symbol that completely describes your company with a single glance. If it doesn't do that then it has failed. So asking for someone on here to put forth that amount of time with such little information and no pay is quite absurd.

 
Did you read the thread? I have the logo, I need it integrated into another logo, that I already have the idea for. I'm not a Fortune 500 company, nor will I ever be. These guys are constantly doing graphic design shit on here. I gave them a chance to mess around and help me out. I fully agree with your above statement. And I understand the importance of a catchy logo. Thanks for your input!

Oh, and Prins, I see that you put, that you were concerned about how the logo would be perceived in 'our' industry. I'm not in the ski industry. If I was, I'd probably put a picture of Sarah Burke's boobies on the side of my warehouse, and give away free marijuana. That would sell?

I know you aren't in the ski industry, thanks though (that was a typo on my part, meant to be your industry not our), there are several industries around the world you could be a part of and everyone has some sort of standards and expectations. Even combining two logos takes a fair amount of time and effort. Making sure that the positive aspects of both logos incorporate and merge the identity together. Not to mention the capital it should take you to integrate it into your business.

It would be ridiculous to think I thought of you as a fortune 500 company, but I would assume that you do an easy seven to eight figures a year and could afford to have this professionally done. Being a trucking and warehouse company and all. I mean you have enough money to be moving to a new location, and you didn't budget enough to pay for a new identity?

And the comment about sarah’s boobs and free marijuana wouldn’t really work with me, as I don’t smoke and do realize that every girl has boobs. However it was quite tactful…

I'm still small enough to care about how much I pay for stuff. And sorry to confuse, it's my dad's company so he would shit his pants if I told him to pay $5000. Why bother when I have a perfectly good resource here. I guarantee that customers who see the new logo will recognize that it belongs to Bonnet. That is all I'm going for. Sorry if I came across as a dick, I wasn't sure if that was a typo. It wasn't a stab.... thanks
