Graphic Design at Montana State University?

He's not claiming... he's being honest. Most of the talented creatives i know spend a lot of time in these scenarios (provided they are freelance or at a "trendy" creative agency. Although I'm not sure how dope the spots I've eaten at have been... My client lunches are usually near where the office is. Although once I did have one boss take us to a Las Vegas Strip club with an open tab. That was interesting.

Don't get defensive. All I want to know are specific examples of the work and the connection to said athlete or company. His statement and yours didn't shed much light on exactly what you do. Like I said I'm curious. I always hear the words graphic designer and some wild claims but never a concrete example of it.

Interned at Real Salt Lake the year after they won the MLS cup. Normal day consisted of creating graphics for the stadium displays or designing print stuff for ticket sales. I got to design the season tickets for that year. On occasion got to kick it in the locker room assisting with the creation of media assets. Worked with Beckerman, Rimando, Olave, Borchers... They'd set up platforms and big crash pads and shoot action shots in front of a backdrop.

Worked at the local Alt Newspaper and freelance for a Local NPO, who provide all sorts of connections for food, music and entertainment. Been to the top 20 rated places on Yelp for reviews, photo shoots, events, etc...

Current gig does a lot of work with Red Bull and TNF. Worked the Flugtag in DC, and I'm doing branding for TNF winter events right now.

Okay that sounds pretty sweet man. Thanks for the response. I just never really know what you guys do. Now I've got some examples, that's sick.
