Granitepeak Tuesdays

rib mountain (granite peak) is ok for midwest standards. but their park blows, do not go there or you'll be sorry. unless, there's a couple of feet on the snow on the ground, then you hike the backcountry of rib mountain. it's got some gnarly little cliffs to huck off of, something rare in the midwest.

last year their trail map showed all of their supposed park features which showed like 8 rails, a couple boxes, a halfpipe, a QP, and lots of tables. i went there and all that were there were a 5 ft. halfpipe, a 10 ft. table, and 2 8-foot rails that were about 8' off the ground. it was so gay. i sure hope it's better this year.

I was reading about their powder park idea on their website. That would actually kick ass if it worked as they plan. Even if it is man made, i just love snow.

mmmmmm snow goood
