Granite Peak Opens Friday

My skis are taking longer than anticipated to get mounted and I missed out on opening weekend. Watching the webcams and stuffing my face with ice cream to sooth the depression.
 
It was pretty good except they only had 2 features. I knew they would only have two runs open but I got there at 8 and got 2nd chair totally worth it.
 
Brought a few guys up on Friday and we were all fairly disappointed with the lack of features and lame vibe. Went to Cascade the next day which had a bunch of features up and a jump. Heard they're having a small slopestyle comp this weekend.
 
Does anyone know if they're gonna have more features open on sunday? I'm going up there probably but I dont want a non existent park

They might add a couple features, buuut they'll probably be closed in 7-10 days. There's no way in hell they can ride out this warm weather with such a thin base.

Yeah I called today and she said they have around 20 features now. Not sure if she's bluffing or serious but that sounds great. And stupid weather, this winter sucks man

20 features is definitely a lie unless they set up a ton of stuff last night. As of yesterday they had 9.
