Grand Prix cancelled today

I'm not sure if there's already a discussion on this but I'm interested to see what NS' thoughts are on this.

Should the qualification scores be used as the final results if the event is cancelled?

Yeah they chose the winners by default already. Not sure about the women's comp but Bobby Brown won the men's.

They did the same thing for the women's too. Keri Herman took gold.

But from what it sounded like, the women said they weren't going to compete either way while the men wanted too.

Either way, I can't believe that there wasn't any kind of forethought in what to do if there was bad weather, especially for an olympic qualifying event. I personally think it's kind of bogus to go strictly based off of qualifying scores since a lot of times, you can tell that the athletes aren't giving it everything they have and instead, are just are trying to put a solid run down to make the cut.

Can anyone find the FIS rule regarding qualifiers counting as finals for cancellations due to outside forces? Per Dumont's tweet, I'm curious to see if this is actually a freestyle-only rule. Seems strange.
