Grand Bizzare vs. After Dark

Disregard both and acquire All.I.Can.

Haven't seen this yet but the trailer looks super fuckin dope! And it took em 2 years to make instead of 1 so its gotta be good. But After Dark was dope, P white is the fuckin man!
 
after dark was not impressive at all! if you appreciate older ski movies then you'll love the grand bizzare. but out of the two grand bizzare is the way to go, level 1 gets too much hype and they haven't produced quality movies for a couple years. done
 
this. all.i.can was awesome. it had great cinematography. best i have seen this year so far was field production's movie. every segment blew me away. after dark was meh. nothing really stood out to me but tammy walnut's segment's were cool i thought among others. havent seen the grand bizar yet but will probably soon
 
I decided to buy After Dark, and I have never been more disappointed.

I really consider myself being open minded when it comes to new music, but the music in AD was just awful. The movie was a big mess, and they were WAY too experimental. I know it doesn't have to be gangsta hip hop and dubstep through the entire movie

I really liked the opening with Parker White, and thought it was brave to choose a Kinks song (which really fitted well to the segment), but after that it just got worse.

I loved the trailer and the vibes in it, which was the main reason why I chose AD over Grand Bizarre, but the movie was a huge disappointment.

Having seen both Grand Bizarre and a AD a couple of times now, there is no doubt in my mind - go for GB! It is hands down one of the best ski movies I have seen (close race between refresh, edias and war)

I personally loved The grand bizarre. thought it was awesome, but You should get "Being There" by Field Productions. Sick skiing from amazing athletes with amazing scenery. The grand bizarre is out on pirate bay anyways.. No opinions on afterdark. hear alot of bad things about it, but want to see it anyways.

Overall: Get Being There By Field Productions.

Its awesome.
 
I am probably a bigger Level 1 fan than PBP, however I have to give the nod to PBP this year. I couldn't get into After Dark because of the soundtrack, and Grand Bizarre just got me more stoked to ride. Grand Bizarre FTW.
 
Isnt it kinda weird that If a movie has pretty damn good skiing but a weak soundtrack its soo hard to watch? but a movie with still good of skiing but a dope soundtrack is so much easier to watch?

Well its how it is for me.
 
after dark if you want to see everyspot like 5 times on each segment and grand bizzare for a awesome movie! but i have to admit that afterdark create my two favorite segment i nthe world rigth now! alex bellemare and ahmet dadali seg was just crazY!!!!!
 
Grand bizarre. I personally liked it a lot more. especially dane tudors segment. it was UNREAL. the super park was a bit of a let down and matt walker only had like 4 shots but i thought the rest of the movie was pretty good. Vila had another sweet segment as well
 
After Dark was just plain awful. I couldn't even tell some segments who was who there was so much jumping around not to mention the soundtrack could go down as the worst soundtrack in a ski movie ever. GB was way dope tho. Tons of bangers, there were a couple boring segmants but overall its pretty dope not to mention the soundtrack is a thousand times better than AD
 
Own them both. Liked grand bizarre more, than watched after dark a few more times. AD for sure. sick soundtrack, awesome skiing. just enjoyable to watch. nothing ground breaking but fuck
 
yeah man. I wanted to get into the seggies cause the riding was unreal, but just couldnt cause of the music. oh well - cant wait to ski.
 
Poorboys is made by Poor Boys. Yet, Level1 is on Level 1.
