yeah they're pointless. at least with the oscars the people nominated for the most part deserve it because of good work, but the grammy's just give awards to whoever the hot artist of the moment is. it has nothing to do with quality. and that opening performance was retarded, why throw 5 completely different songs together.

I didn't watch. What's this about Zeppelin and Janis? Were they up for lifetime acheivement awards or something?

And someone PLEASE tell me. What's the big deal about Kanye? I personally think he sucks. Also, how can you like such mainstream music like Green Day? They have no talent. I will argue this to the death too.
