aspen extreme is a classic, but its also a complete joke that does a horrible job of representing ski culture. as in this movie is shitty, contrived, industryafied, etc.

i donno man it doesn't seem like there is that much of a culture behind graffiti artists-- especially the part about sex and murder. could be good, but maybe not so believeable

Graffiti is it's own culture, though it might be closley related, graffiti is not Hip-hop. How often do you ever see any hip-hop artist talk about graff?

Graffiti is a HUGE culture, wether it be in the "ghetto" as some kids call it, or in the suburbs. You can't say there is no culture with graffiti.

i think it looks real good. The first movie i really wana see in a long time. i knew a bunch of kids who were into writing and theres definatly a culture behind it. Most of them are in jail now though

the beginning of aspen extreme was filmed in my town, at my hill...we dont talk about it anymore, but we just got "mt brighton maintence" hats that were in the movie and we sell them.

This movie made my hill famous. Whenever i go out west i say i ski at mt brighton and people are like "no way!!". Im just like, yeah its just as bad as it looks in the movie.
