i only ever do it downtown, if no ones going to see it i dont see much of a point, i love the busiest areas of toronto where i know a million people will walk through in a day, been forever since ive thrown anything good up though because of bullshit >
 
If you make a nice piece of art it will be noticed no matter where you put it. That being said, yes I do like Easter eggs.

Anybody still going out? Ive been dabing my toes in the game a little bit more lately. Catching a lot bombs and tags in high profile spots and highways.
 
I find it pointless for me to freeze my hands off when I'm just solo hitting chill spots. So I've just been working on basic stuff (Throws, handies, simps, whatever) and doing battles/exchanges.

Lots of respect to graffiti artists who do nice work. I can really make a place look wonderful. But tags like this are stupid as fuck. That's just vandalism with no point other than to make a place look trashy at the owners expense. I hope you get charged for vandalism doing those. Do some nice work like so much else in this thread that doesn't hurt to look at.

Graffitti isnt about making something look "Nice" Its about self expression. His tags are fucking ill and he can do sick ass pieces aswell. Get charged for vandalism? What in Gods name do you think graffitti is? Go look through 30+ pages and you will see some of his awesome work. Until then, fuck off.
 
Theres a difference between a graffiti artist and a bomber. Some people do both, but theres a difference. I'm definitely more bombing shit. I have boundaries such as schools, churches, homes, cars, etc. but other than that I could a fuck less what others think. Call me a punk or whatever, but its the way I feel. And besides, Writers that bomb are the ones who get up.

And as for vandalism charges, shit happens. Its the price you gotta pay, literally.

I'd never ride solo unless it was a spot i knew pretty well, and it does suck freezing your hands off but yard dogs patrol a lot less in the cold weather you gotta be able to go places other people wont.

Your works so clean i love it. Ive never been good at art quit frankly i suck, i just work on my graff a lot. I use to be a lot better back in highschool when i drew everyday. But im working on it again and really wanting to stick with the train yards and do less bomby type stuff and hit solid fills. Not saying i dont bomb i just would like to do more art'sy stuff on trains. I just got back from hitting a billboard on the highway and the train yard.

I cant wait for Feb 13th for oinkartltd.com to restock there Fresh Paint

It isn't expression, it's a god damn scribble on a wall. Someone elses wall at that. And guess what, they're the ones have to deal with it you fuck tard. and they're charged and ticketed if they don't deal with it.

fucking draw all over your own house, I don't give a shit. but keep your pointless scribbles off other peoples property.

Would you really appreciate someone drawing all over your car or your front door or window? absolutely not. so don't do it to others.

sick graffiti is great. I love it. I looked through this entire thread because I think it's dope. but then I see shit like that and it makes me want to vomit. it's no better than someone keying a car or chucking rocks through a window.
 
If your a true graffiti writer you gotta be able to hold down your name, if your not tagging you shouldnt be bombing and if your not bombing you shouldnt be peicing. Some bodys gonna do it matter what graffiti tagging isnt just gonna stop. Your in a graffiti thread my brother we know people dont like it, but does that stop us no. Theres a whole lot to it besides just messing up somebodys property, it means a whole lot more. And everybody starts with a tag you dont just go out and peice unless your an art major, then your just an artist who does graffiti, not a graffiti writer.

When did I say it should be excused? Its an illegal activity. A huge amount of Americans smoke weed daily, and its illegal in the majority of states. Are they selfish pricks too? Should they grow up a bit as well?

Smoking weed doesn't harm others. It's not damaging their property. It's doing nothing to others that's detrimental in any way. Unless maybe you're blowing smoke in a babies face or smoke a lot when you're pregnant.

Doing an activity that's causing others grief just because you want to do it is both selfish and childish. If everyone did what they wanted even if it harmed others the world would be a complete shithole.

graffiti shouldn't be illegal, but then keep it to the sides of railway cars and overpasses and bridges where no one really gives a fuck and it only makes it look nicer.

do you feel good about scribbling some tag on someone's window so when they wake up in the morning they have to spend the next couple hours cleaning it, pay someone else to clean it, or not clean it and get a ridiculous fine?

like I said, you obviously wouldn't be stoked if someone keyed your car at night. then to make it worse there was a law put in place saying the owner of the car HAS to pay for it so you have to shell out the money to repair it. you'd be pissed as fuck at the person. you'd be lying it you said you weren't.

keep tags off peoples property. they look ugly and only cause other people grief. go to a bridge and do a big mural that everyone can respect and enjoy.

Vinnie F I understand where you are coming from but you know nothing about graff history. If the tag was never started back in the day in the late 60's early 70's then those beautiful pieces you enjoy would have never been existed. Artists school would not know that it was possible to go from doing art to painting elaborate words and characters on walls like you enjoy.

Also graffiti culture revolves around crime and not giving a fuck, always has...
 
I'm going to have to agree with what vinneyf is saying about its pretty dumb for tagging some shops window or something. Its really a nuisance for someone to have to pay someone to clean up what someone painted on there window or wall because they think its "art" or whatever. If your going to do it stick with something that either A.) shop owner or B.) tax payers wont have to pay for cause you want to right you name on a wall. Im sure that thousand dollars they spent to paint a wall brown again could have gone to something more useful. JUSSAYIN

But i will agree when i walk past or see stuff like that it looks pretty sick, i just feel bad for whoever has to pay and clean it up later.
 
yes and then after i specified that you should pick a spot so neither of those two groups have to pay for to clean up.. aka abandon building or something. I dont know. It would piss me off to have to pay for that, wouldnt it piss you off? Im guessing you live in the cities somewhere. Im sure you could find an abandon building or a train car to draw on instead of some shops window?

the fact that you woke up this morning in a warm bed, had a fridge full of food, and was able to access NS at your fingertips proves otherwise. the world is a wonderful place, yet selfish people have a knack for ruining it. If the world was selfish you wouldn't recognize it. In fact the human race would have died out long ago if we were inherently selfish.

Trust me i will. Your style reminds me so much of mine back in high-school when i was on it. Yours is a little more advanced than mine was but on the same type of cleanliness. I use to be more up to par, i've never been an artist it was always something i really had to work at and with my new work hours and trying to get my pilots license i havnt put in the work i need to, to be on point.
