im graduating soon. and my parents want to get me a grad present. the problem is i cant think of anything that i want or need. i was thinking a ski trip would be nice but that would be way out of their price range.

my brother got a watch worth about 750 bucks or so.

lemme hear your ideas.

i may just say screw it i dont need anything.

a great idea if you dont already have one and your going off to school next year is a laptop...why not

Do you have a laptop? That's what my parents are getting me when I graduate...Other than that maybe a gas card? Gas is freakin rediculous so I guess that would be a useful present...

yeah im getting a laptop for graduation from my grandparents and my parents combined. If your into watched thats not a bad idea because a real nice watch could run you 500$+

dude, with a full tank of gas, and 750$$ you could have one hell of a ski trip, just plan it all out and plan it around a budget.

i spend a week in breck every spring and i spend 600$

Thats actually not bad at all for a middle range watch. Some Rolexes will sell for well over 20K and I know a guy who makes watches and just finished a run of 1million dollar watches. When you spend 1million on a watch, then your crazy in my mind.

Personally with a $750 budget I would see if I could get that as money down towards random expenses in college. For instance I spent about $600 this year on trips I went on with clubs I joined. Or you could get a n entry Level DSLR camera for 700ish with a lens and have some fun if your into photography. Or if your into cars, get them to get you some wheels or something like that for your car. Maybe a system? just some ideas

some good ideas here. i still think the ski trip is the best idea. maybe a weekend this summer down to ohio dreams?

they already told me that they would pick me up a laptop anyway, although i may just say get me it as a grad present.

ive already got a dslr.

jeeze i must be tough to buy presents for.

anybody who buys a rolex is clearly not in the know, but this isn't a thread about watches so I won't get into that, umm, I got a new synth as my grad present. If you're into music production you could get a workstation. How about some outerwear? new ski boots? skis? If you are going to a large campus maybe a bicycle? longboard? get a cheap scooter, they can be a grand, and you can get around at 100mpg if you don't mind looking a little on the less acceptable side of sexuality.

I didn't say get a watch. I mean ash is great but you'll most likely have plenty later in life. Ski's break rim's get beat but something that lasts forever and you can show your kids will mean alot more later in life.

sick idea! ill run that past them.

sentenmentall would be good i guess, but i am sure ive got enough of that stuff.

Seeing as this is a skiing forum, get skis.

Otherwise look in to getting funding for a laptop, car etc. Something for the futre.

skis are always great.

bindings too

how about a season pass to a resort that you have always wanted to ride at for a season for next year like northstar or pc
